    In this leasing agent and property management training video, I am going to show you the top stupid questions apartment managers ask prospects that blow the lease for them.
    Leasing apartments is one of the most difficult parts of a property managers job. Sadly, as I tour the world conducting leasing agent training, I find that most apartment managers are asking a number of these stupid questions when they get in front of a prospective renter.
    Take a few minutes and go through this list and see if any of these stupid questions sound familiar to you. Eliminating them will help you lease more apartments.

    How can I get into leasing in Cali? So confused

    • @LeasingUniversity
      @LeasingUniversity  Před 5 lety +3

      Awesome question. I’ll give you the 100% unfiltered answer I’d give my own daughter. This is the BEST industry on the planet for long term opportunities. If you can show a property or portfolio that you have the skills to SELL renters they would love to offer you a job. Heck, they will make a position just for you! If I was you, I would go through EVERYTHING in www.leasinguniversity.com and then go to the 10 properties you love most and show the manager you can SELL! www.LeasingUniversity.com will cost you $299 and you will need to commit the time to watching the videos but if you can’t make that type of investment in yourself you don’t have what it takes to be a success in our industry. I hope that helps. Interested to hear what you decide you want from your career and life.

    This is a fantastic video. He exactly explains why its not good to sound "PHONEYYYY" or "Foney". Ive worked in aggressive sales markets for years and the training they would have us do was ridiculous, which made me quit multiple times. Ive always done his type of sales and marketing strategies and have ALWAYS been within the top 5 sales agents at a company. What he is saying is 100% ture. No one wants to listen to an opening line that they are about have an ear full of bullshit. I hang up within 10 seconds on people based on the pitch of the call. I like watching these videos. They are get to the point, no bullshit. 🤩😘😘😀😀😀

    Your great... I was great in the industry closing ratio 60% ... colleagues would get so angry I was closing so high and I was outside the metro standards I had a baby so I had gained allot of weight ( luxury homes tended to think you had to be a model to get better numbers) I was black with cool natural hair. And everyone would rent from me, it’s an emotional buy and psychological support... and never be afraid what the cons are I would ask why they were leaving there current location after we have a rapport. To make sure it was hitting all there needs without being overt... he’s good and I love his energy

    Question: I interviewed for a company but their reviews are 2.1 from residents ouch! Should I run or are resident reviews about a PM company not something I should be too concerned with? Yes I want to get my foot in the door leasing but I want to make sure it’s a good company too. Or should I take the job get experience and leave in a year? Your thoughts?

    • @LeasingUniversity
      @LeasingUniversity  Před 4 lety +3

      Charlene Forte great question. Reviews are something we teach how to improve at www.LeasingUniversity.com. All your points are valid. On one hand you may be walking into a disaster on the other it will be a chance for you to shine.
      If it were me and I had a choice I would work at the community with the best reviews. But if this offer is your only option right now, you may want to take it.
      Does that make sense? Did I miss anything?

    Great tips. The only one I disagree with is the "Congratulations." Then, you can potentially be giving them the "Your application was declined." so much for the congratulations.

      Carpe Diem great comment! Thank you so much! Does it make more sense to have a sales process designed around the most desired outcome for your ideal prospects? Or one built around outcomes outside of your control? We want you to stay positive and always assume good things will happen for both you and your prospects.
