      After part 2 I thought he would surely clean the engine exterior and a lot of the smaller bits in this episode.

      @@user-qc5te9wk1s I've battled w the thought of selling it, idk if I could. Eng has 17k never modded. It's orange which you never see. Literally took it apart cuz I was doing a cam chain tensioner and figured I'd tear it down to powder the frame and clean it all up nice. I see her done and she's beautiful, just need to follow through. Where u at, I'm in central fl

    The oil light will go off when it comes up to pressure, it doesn't need bleeding.

    • @zrcarbon9937
      @zrcarbon9937  Před rokem +1

      Yeah normally doesn’t need that if you have a simple oil change. When you have a bigger job done on the engine, like splitting the crankcase or pulling the cylinder head off. The oil will leak out of the oil passages and air will trap in to it. After refilling the engine with oil the oil pump can’t pick up the oil as air trapped into the system. This is the reason why is that deairing is so important for a dry engine.

      My mistake I didn’t say it precisely. I was only talking about the zx6r 03-04 models. Not every single engines in the whole world.

    frame looks great , but as with every rebuild it highlights the condition of the part next to it , i feel you will regret not taking more time to chean the engine better when completed .
    best of luck witht the build

      @@zrcarbon9937 phhh, i think you underestimate yourself😏
      motogp's swingarm is only 1mm thick
      you already have fat alu body, that would be ideal for carbon monocoque
      the main challenge here is to add inserts precisely and make it rust free _(glass fibre layer or some glue 🤔 )_

      It is from a 2008 model. The frame specks is the same for the swingarm as the 2005 onwards to 2008 models. The swingarm is a straight bolt on swap. 🏍🛠🤟

    How do you like the bike lift ?

    • @zrcarbon9937
      @zrcarbon9937  Před 11 měsíci +1

      It is great, I really like it. It has advantages and disadvantages. For space management and moving around the bike while on the lift is great. Disadvantages are you can’t lift vintage bikes and little complicated sometimes to attach to the bike.
      I would buy it again for sure. It is great.

      Hey
      Yes its definitely not for everyone. Someone likes chubby women, someone likes skinny women. Some one likes both. All depends on taste.
      I imagined the blue colour will look good with carbon fibre. I wanted to build something different. 🏍🛠🤟
