Two 2020 Toyota GR Supras Go ALPHA 6 | 600whp+

Two 2020 Toyota GR Supras hit the lifts side-by-side for the new ALPHA 6 turbocharger system from AMS Performance! While the turbocharger setup is the same between the two builds, the one key difference is that one is equipped with a port injection conversion, and one pushed the stock direct injection system as far as possible. Really cool to see the difference in results! Setup details below:

This is ok for stock transmission as well?

Yep! It depends on the setup, but we generally recommend a built transmission past 600lbft. That said, many have operated past this level without issue.

But the question is, can these cars run 20-25min HPDE track time in 80+ deg ambient temps without overheating. If not, then it’s only good for the drag strip where a supercharged LS clap trap car will smoke it in the 1/8 and 1/4 mile. Supras should be tuned for a road race track.

If HPDE is the customer's intended usage, then we would not recommend either setup outlined in this video. It's an entirely different approach, as you know. Both of these customers were looking for fun street cars that they could also hit the drag strip with. For that goal, these are fantastic setups!

I have seen people using these setup on HPDE’s and TimeAttack Configs… And this kit is what im aiming to get because it aint laggy as the other top mount and Alpha 8 kit.
