@NBAInsider @NBA Insider NBA Insider GuttaStarrEnt looks like they listen 10k likes is not bad lol Good job NBA Insider. I'm a fan of what you do. All your Coverage and Hard Work shows how much you not only love the game but you appreciate each and every persons unique story. I can truly feel the passion and effort you put into telling their store's. You never know how it can affect or change some young athletes choices in the future just because they watched some of these videos. Most people only tell the good parts of a person's story, but not you NBA Insider. We need to know the beginning, middle, end, goals, dedication, hardwork, effort, mistakes, violence, abuse, failure, growth, and the aftermath of it all, especially the bad and there's always a lesson to be learned through all the smoke and tears. Thanks for the great videos.
Thank you.
Now, THIS is black history.
Forget NBA history, he’ll go down as one of the best entrepreneurs in history, period.
Ben doverman yes
@@TheIcemanthomas While he was clearly an amazing businessman I don't know if he's really a top entrepreneur. He isn't known for any inventions or innovations, he was a great leader and businessman. He sure as hell knows how to make money, but he's got nothing on Lonnie Johnson :)
@@davidjohnson8655 Entrepreneur- person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so.
is that not exactly what his story entails?
@@TheIcemanthomas
Taken from www.investopedia.com/terms/e/entrepreneur.asp
An entrepreneur is an individual who creates a new business, bearing most of the risks and enjoying most of the rewards. The entrepreneur is commonly seen as an innovator, a source of new ideas, goods, services, and business/or procedures.
I'm not arguing that he isn't an entrepreneur, he started a business that owns hundreds of franchises, making him a very successful entrepreneur. That is different from being a top entrepreneur. He didn't start the franchises, he purchased prefabricated businesses and was very good at managing them. His greatest strengths are his leadership and business management, not innovation. If you look up a list of the top entrepreneurs you will find they all have innovation in common. This is why I suggested one of my personal favorites, Lonnie Johnson, who on top of having his own business is known as an inventor and engineer. I don't think he is as successful financially speaking, but he is definitely more noteworthy as an entrepreneur, at least in my opinion. I will take super soakers and nerf guns over collectivizing franchises any day.
Johnson is worth 350 million
Bridgeman is worth 600 million
Whats the point here?
The man (junior) worked hard, and made it known that education can go a long way. His story, and message was to the point. What he innovatived is truly irrelevant. SMH.😔
Dude just worked hard and kept pushing himself. Respect

Wow, This is amazing. I never heard of him. So glad you posted this video. It's really inspiring. I just find it so unbelievable how many things he was doing at once. Even while playing basketball he had his hands in other things working hard. Yes, he could have just been satisfied with his NBA salary and lived comfortably, but this is a man that was and is beyond motivated. This video deserves a lot more views than it has because I think our youth need to see things like this. I love how his dad instilled those values and work ethics in him and he just took it and ran with it. Thank you again. Have a great day. George. Also, I'm really impressed with how many comments you respond to. That's something I've always tried to do on my channel. I spend about 30 mins a day responding to my comments. I know our subscribers appreciate that a lot. A lot of youtube channels never respond to any comments. And that's ok. It's their decision to do that, but it doesn't take that much time out of the day to answer some questions and interact with your subs. I know I appreciate it when I see a channel that does it. You just got a new subscriber.

@@NBAInsider Well for one the topic. It just was unique it wasn't just something related to on the court, but outside the sport itself, the title alone was attention grabbing enough, but it wasn't click bait because I didn't feel mislead. Then I really was a fan of: the detail, the visuals you presented to the audience, the fact the audio was crisp and clean, the editing was done very well. It isn't rare to find good videos, but to find all those attributes I stated in one video is just worth a like and subscribe to me.

You broke one of the 48 laws of power. If people like the video they will like it. You could have just put like and subscribe to remind people who actually liked it. Telling people how much work you put into something takes away the magical element and it strangely makes people do the opposite of what you want them to do. A majority of people won't even watch the whole video.

True, their's no small money.
Most people don't have the extra money to invest though. They want to save and invest, but people have bills. @@NBAInsider It's alive. That's really the best way to put it. Just a few minutes, I felt like I'd known Bridgeman forever. Perhaps, it's just the story in itself. But I'd be damned if the quality of the telling of it in this video (from the narrator's tone, words, descriptions, to the editing of shots - especially when it alternates between pictures of Bridgeman grinding on the court, and then grinding off the court at his first Wendy's). It was truly inspiring. I think the best way to put it is that, the makers of this video truly cared about and admired its subject...that rubbed off, and there's no faking it. Salud.

@@chrisscott9849 At Louisville, he played with Allen Murphy and Wesley Cox. He was a 6th man for most of his NBA career, and was one of the best off-the-bench players in the League. @@NBAInsider I'm in Toronto Canada from a jamaican background played soccer and basketball growing up ,I'm not a casual fan more like a day 1 even before Toronto got a team so I know bout Jamal magloire from eastern commerce high school days to Phil dixon univerity of Utah was @ all Toronto guys
watch the Raptors 905 team play every winter so I seen the vanvleet , Pascal and caboclo growth plus the game growth so winning a championship was expected
Jamal Murray dad roger is jamaican so we all know the hardship of not playing hockey but any kid can pick up a Basketball head outside
So I sent your video to a few of ma ppl here
As they say each one teach one and knowledge is the key
Keep up the great work n stay bless
P.s even though Kawhi left real fans appreciate what he did for Toronto Raptors worldwide n 10yrs from now only thing anybody going to remember is that Toronto won an NBA championship still a long list of teams yet to accomplish that 🙏🏿⛹🏿♂️
@@NBAInsider what I like is the fact the video is family oriented, detailed in the sense that you spoke about his upbringing and the work that went into the player and the person
2019 seem like the status quo is about which female can twerk or which rapper /drug dealer is balling out of control
Your product have substance and there is a kid sum where out there that will see your video will give him hope not so much for basketball but the fact that you can excel @ other aspects in your life don't have to buy into the negative images stereotypes of the media🤔🤫
There goes another prominent man of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity! The fraternity known for its leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. and Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
It’s not surprising that Junior Bridgeman became so successful. He was also the NBA Players Union President when he was in the league.
The Alpha Phi Alpha unofficial motto: “We Party Hard. We Stay up Late. But most of all we GRADUATE!!”

The positivity displayed in showing that the right mindset and investments mean more to securing a financial future rather than focusing on the amount of money you currently make. A lot can be done with a little, and with the portrayal of the NBA superstars currently isn’t really that of making sound futuristic decisions but more of flash and glamour. Great video!
