World leaders used to turn to CNN for any developments in their neighbouring countries. When you turned on CNN, You saw a vibrant mix of news, comment, interviews and more. Bobbi Battista was an infamous face starting off at Headline News in the mid 80s before gradually moving to CNN into the 90s. Definitely going to miss her

I use to love CNN. It was more news then opinion. I liked it best when it would repeat the national news ever hour or thirty minutes. You could turn on the TV and get a news program that wasn't propaganda from the politburo. In my best James Earl Jones, `We no longer have CNN.'
