Another huge increase is bak bolts and dw/2h swapping you get double the procs and the 2h autos are way better when using defensives like anticipation and freedom. Also tendrils and when you pop your d swift
Why when I swap from asc bolts to bakrimnal bolts ruby (e) do I get a message that says:
"Your ammunition will do lower damage than expected when using your current weapons."
I have my asc bows equipt..
@@Shroudey Bak Bolts damage cap at t99 but your ascensions won't do t99 damage lol they will cap at t90 but the reason that they are worth it are for the enchant effect. if you use t92 weapons of course these will be better but they are def the best bolts to use however if you are using ascensions and want to use hydrix for their adren specs use ascendri instead as they are 3k gp cheaper per bolt than Hydrix bakriminals. since your capped at t90 anyway and the ascendri do the same they are better. Added note for the bak bolts section. If you're maxed or have maxed range, be sure to put the range cape into your max cape, combat cape, or just wear the range cape. The range cape passive makes enchanted bolt effects more likely to trigger. With elite seer's village diary done you will get a further increase to that chance as well.

This is what I have been googling the last week or so and getting so many different ideas and routes that my head hurts, this really helped simplify the process and talked in terms easy to understand
The best part about this video (for me) is that you show what the increase actually is. It's not just "Hur dur, use these perks, they are the best", you actually tell me why and show me the freaking increase. This video doesn't apply to me, but I just found it such a great thing to note.

Hey great guide! Since it’s for beginners it may also be worth talking about the different styles for beginners! Like what to expect DPS wise, how it will affect the bosses you can do, costs etc. I see so many beginners (myself included) investing a lot into mage just to regret it when finding it that it’s by far the weakest, especially if not using 4taa. I switched to melee after dumping mage, and now I am full on range after realizing how strong/easy it is to use with greater ricochet for pretty much every boss.
Can you please make a similar video for each of the styles and what to buy and their effect as armour and weapon combined if possible. Either way, thanks for this video.

Hey, great guide! It's clear and I can really use it. The only thing is, you call it a beginners guide and then talk about Vorago, Telos, Solak, Virtus, Tectonic, Sliske's staff etc. I would at least call this stuff intermediate, maybe even end game. Even if it's just used exemplary, this will not mean a lot to 'true' beginners :)
For us returning with max stats this video is just what we need to be comparable with those who haven’t taken a break

Bakriminel bolts are pretty cool imo, if only because they bring back bolt choice as something to consider in your ranged build. Has that oldschool feel that I like seeing in some places.

I suppose it’s how you view it. Being a beginner to PVM you’d want to know which direction to take in weapons armour perks etc. So it is for beginners as it’s the entry information. You’re not really PvMing if you’re doing GMole and KBD reapers daily.

For ranged progression, is t80 worth it? Do you ever bother with the t80 non-degradables or stick to t70? Nex armors seem dope because of life gain (extra safety for berserker relic?) but sirenic chest+legs is cheaper, albeit much more frustrating to maintain. For melee, t90 seems like such a no-brainer and you can easily justify 14m for an extra pair of legs with scav 3/4 - but for ranged I'm a bit confused whether I should go for t80 or t90.

About to do my first Rax with a wyvern cbow with ruby bak bolts, I only have p6 on it at the moment since I only have 84 inv. It'll be interesting to see what kind of damage I do.

Often the best dps increase comes from a proper ability rotation, comes free btw

inquiz staff is so op that I literally jumped from sunspear to inquiz on my ironman. skipped all the progressive upbrades, then used inquiz to start upgrading my other combat style gear. skipped so many progression grinds by hard grinding arch on release.
You ever thought of going IM Mode? I have a near comped IM (120 Herb) left. it is fun and HCIM would be a lot of fun. Grinding through the mid levels is kind of a pain, but in the end it will be worth it.

I have a question as well. How would say elite seasinger wand/orb and g conc compare to inquisitor's staff? would that be cheaper and better dps for mages? Or is inq staff still superior to it on the bosses that it hits?

My clan got me to use shadow glaive main hand and off hand chaotic crossbow for early and cheap access to bakriminal bolts. T90 accuracy sure limited t80 damage but blood sacrifice doesn't care about weapon damage.
Yeah that's a really good setup for basically free. For melee people will buy a twin sisters mainhand and a ripper demon offhand. Very strong. Then you can replace the twin sister mainhand with a drygore mace once you get 50m and you'll only be about 3.5% dps behind double drygores
@@Sammysapphira good point I got drlance and dual rippers ages a go I'll definitely sell the main hand and get the sister main cheers. I rarely use dual wield now I have laceration boots though those things are great
That's not a good set-up because Shadow Glaives are bugged --
If not paired with its counterpart it deals decreased damage (marginal, but still)
It's better to use DW Chaotic Crossbows rather than 1 Shadow Glaive paired with 1 Chaotic Crossbow.

Yo so I solo things like amby and sieryu n KK. I’ve yet to need or want the Berserkers Fury relic. I use the lotd adren ones so I can run asylum n rod. Idk tbh about the zerker fury

Nope, unfortunately the hexhunter Is very very niche and basically useless :( the sheer fact you can use Bak bolts with crossbows outclasses all bows except ecb.

I have ascensions and pernix and serenic armor (the latter for higher tier bosses), but I’m pretty poor now after spending a ton of money in skills. What bosses do you recommend learning how to farm so I can upgrade my other styles?
Learn solo nex and araxxor those are the best bosses to learn ranged rotations, dps and money

True, usually they expect you to split any big drops (though they usually won't notice/care much about consistent money from non-uniques) in exchange.

Would t80 crossbow with bak bolts be better than nox bow. Ironman here, so its a bit harder to get higher tier crossbow.

Yes for sure augment the chaotic and put E4 and use Bakriminel bolts, you will see a really big increase in DPS!

And here I am, just not going to use bak bolts out of spite because theyre a daily. Gonna get my ammoless decimation and upgraded bone blowpipe. But I also just dont range any bosses at all except the required ones like dag supreme and the mage rex matriarch.
that's a BIG issue that dual wield gets benefits of shield, dps and more perk switches just bc of bakri bolts
I would maybe explain to the beginners why sgb has such a high price tag. Yea that bow being your main weapon is a no go but that spec go brrrr. Gives them something to work towards rather than writing it off.

What is the upkeep cost of bakriminal bolts? How many do you "waste" per hour. Would be interesting to better understand where to use them.
My experience is that 200 consumed per hour pvm

Ancient invention use rs wiki. You need the blueprint and components to start. I thought you need 90+ arch as well but that wasnt the case. Components are buyable which is nice.
Sirenic is worth upgrading to early because it’s so cheap.
So… I don’t understand where to go from here, I don’t have ascensions I have a perked out sirenic, I do rax, nex, and getting into dungeons, so I sell my sirenic bow for the 1.5 and buy the offhand I need ? Do I keep my dbow essence of finality or do I drop my bow into it? 😅
Don’t put seren bow into eof without t92 weapons. Eof uses the weapon tier of your weapon not the weapon stored in any so you’d be massively downgrading your sgb

@@ByongSun Uhm, it's fine if you use Asc with an SGB EoF.
Also, SGB EoF allows you to proc Bakriminel bolts with the Bow spec, which is REALLY nice.
I wouldn't suggest actually using an SGB anyway (besides for the spec, as a switch) unless you afk camp Capsarii or something (in your POSD).
Keep the SGB and use an off hand shadow glaive plus asc MH. OH Shadow is maybe 10M? And then you can still use Baks on the asc
3mil pr. try maybe for the gizmo perks, no way you can get them for 3 mil gp :D

Are you using Reckless Aura? Reckless,Maniacal, and Berserker auras are much needed for a lot of PVM. Insanely OP, also reaper necklace or EOF.
