Garcia is the man.
Thank you.
Mike Garcia winner.
right!!!
Amazing voice... I totally agree. I've literally listened to this album since I was in high school. :) ...and that was along time ago. Jezzz-- am so glad am a product of the early 1980's.
I binge listen to this sloburn over and over at work. I'm a KYUSS freak, but SLOBURN , in my opinion, is in the same league!! Groovy riffs, stoner desert rock!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Unida is not to shabby either!
Any other bands you recommend?
Absorb this album...I still can't save this.
Coping with the urban coyote is my favorite album, period
Just randomly hit this golden masterpiece..7 minutes ago...After listening for about two minutes I said to my new roommate that's KYUSS level stuff!
Then a minute later I read your excellent comment ❤❤❤🎉haha Yeaaahh!
All hail John Garcia, the vocal midas!
good singer but only this one he did with dave his othr stuff garbage
@@mmontan8719 you have no idea what you're saying
Johny real Son of Kyuss
turning to gold everything !
I agree. John Garcia rocks. I love his voice. Sloburn, Kyuss, etc. Garcia has that voice. Soulful❤❤❤
"PILOT THAT PHUHCKIIN' DUUUUUUUUNE!" I love John's voice.
when you ride you fucking motorbike on a big dunes, you'll sing that man!!
that riff though!!!!

The 1-2 combo of Pilot The Dune and July back to back...what a voice!!

Every band who John Garcia touch, turn to gold! I love a lot this album!
I was an adolescent in the mid-1990's and was all-in on grunge and various other forms of alt-rock in those days, yet Stoner somehow flew beneath my radar, as none of my friends introduced me to it. Now in my early-40's I *just* discovered this genre of music, and the track responsible was "July". The combination of fast, driving rhythm and wooly, fuzzed-out guitars is just *chef's kiss*!
Check out the band Fuzz song in particular “Say Hello” also The psychedelic porn crumpets song “Cornflakes” will not disappoint
U should DEFINITELY check out Kyuss then dude! Start with their "Wretch" (1991) album, trust me, mate~ 🤘😜💯💥😏👍
Same..
Exactly the same here, but I was so far up Pantera and Slayer's asses I never got to enjoy these guys in real-time. I did catch Kyuss Lives in the 2010's
@@OwmyLegItches I also saw Kyuss lives circa 2011. Slo burn did some shows in 2017. I saw them in London. On of the best experiences of my life.
246k views, the stoner army is real! thanks for listening guys, I knew when I put this up I'd make a lot of people happy! just jumping in to say that I'll be doing sound for John Garcia in a month and I'm fuckin' stoked! peace out, zillo
+Zillo Benetti thanks man! they took their stuff off spotify (in the uk at least). you are a real savior :)
+Zillo Benetti Thanks for putting this up man! I listen to it daily and have for almost a year now. What do you mean about doing sound for John Garcia out of curiosity? At a venue or something?
+SensoryTheater07 yep! he's coming to play in Pisa (Tuscany-Italy) in a venue in which I do regular work as sound engineer, can't fuckin' wait!
+Zillo Benetti I'm not a part of the "Stoner Army." That phrase makes me cringe. Just call it Desert Rock.
+creepyd444 Whatever works for you... It's just names and labels bro
this music makes me look forward to tomorrow
Finally the algorithm gives me something good!
Yeeees
846.123 views. 46.123 of them are from me!
Gotta get those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers!
Actually one of the best stoner rock bands i know. I'm so sad that they removed slo burn from spotify...
+HANK Yeah, I remember listening to it on spotify! At least we have it on youtube.
fuck spotify and no want nuthing to do with them u see wat hap to joe rogan
thats spotify lie on free speech remove good ones
back after 5 years and this is still the best stoner album out there =) enjoy it lads!
@@Lukas-jy5yp Completely agreed brother! Happy Thanksgiving! 🤘😎
'July' is criminally heavy.
Can confirm. Cops are at my door, bangin' to the beat.
Muezli is one of the finest Stoner tunes ever recorded.
gracias meu
Snake Hips is easily the best song on this album.
MASSIVE 🤘🤘🤘
InstaBlaster
Round Trip is one of my favourite riffs I’ve ever heard 🤘
Edit: some of my favourite riffs, both are killer 🙌
Any day I wake up with a little John Garcia in my feed and I'm in heaven. Doesn't matter which project. The way he makes love to the mic its so sultry.
Once again, CZcams delivers what Spotify doesnt. Thank you!
I love that July song. The vocals are amazing.
God fucking damn this has got to be one of the best records ever made! Every time I listen to it literally get chills and cannot decide which song is my favourite.... one of the best days of my life was seeing John Garcia play live 😍 really hope he comes back to Australia soon!!
Upon repeated listenings this has become one of my favorite albums of all time. Up there with Sky Valley and Gravity X.
Ooooooooooooooooooo ahhhhhhooooooooooo yeah man them albums kick ass
Great taste! I would like to add in Dopesmoker also.
geeeez, you just took the words out of my head.
What's Gravity X?

An album by Truckfighters
Bought this CD back in the day. Still does the trick. Over two decades later.
this is the most pure and original stoner rock sound ever.
raw and hard...
I miss the records that were recorded in garages.
As someone who loves 80's Thrash, this stoner/desert rock, that started out with Kyuss, just kept the heaviness throughout the 90's (as Thrash began to fade away) Ace album
fucking 80s thrash and 90s desert rock is just class act taste
Damn i allmost forgot how freaking good this Album is.
2020 still rockin it.
Damn straight!
AMEN BROTHER
Right on!
The times, they are'a'changin'
Always
How have I never heard this wow dude the industry is BLUFFIN
This record smokes. It's everything I love about desert rock! I sure miss John Garcia. He has been in Europe for ever and a day.
Not anymore go check out all the stuff he's doing now man.
Brave Black Sea is touring in Europe and their new record, FRAGMENTS is available on V2 records....the European branch of Virgin Records. BBS really picks up where SB left off. Check it out....you will dig it.
Robin Linn Cool. I was just talking about John's new solo album, Vista Chino's album Peace and whatever else he's been doing.
@@RobinLinn those guys are booooooring
@@SmallerDrums agree unless with dave they suck
Ok. Just me. I have listened to this song a thousand times. I always picture some beast, pounding all around, ordering things to reorder when they can't. The creature dies.
The best goddamn four track E.P ever. Heavy as bears.
Panopticon totally agree, best ep I’ve ever heard period.
John Garcia and his brotherhood of stoner bands are all FN amazing!
only this cause of one dave maio rest is garbage
Takes me back! So glad that this record is forever archived on here. It was so hard to get hold of back in the day in the UK!
Just found this on vinyl, fucking delighted !! This and Welcome to Sky Valley will be in my sweaty paws soon :)
If you like this music make sure you buy a new, legit copy. These musicians are an important part of Rock-and-Roll history.
Not possible. This was never released, sadly.
@@zubas88 Pretty sure it was released. Got it on vinyl and cd
@@zubas88 , it is in my collection next to kyuss and truckfighters, very rare, that's a fact
@@zubas88 You are incorrect.
@@leodallapozza9909 You have the 5 song EP. This is the full unreleased album.
Burning one to SLO BURN, life is good thanXXX!
right on brother!!!!!!!
I listen to July every July 1st and its been a journey of 10 years today! WORLD PEACE!
You know you can listen to it all year round lol
It's 2022 and this album has even bigger impact now than any time before, real gem!
God damn this entire album sends tingles down my spine 🤤
This is, by far, the most infravalorated album of all time
Wow. Had the original EP on CD back in the 90s and have only heard the other songs in terrible mp3 versions that circulated online back then! Thanks for posting these!
This is so fucking good I can't even explain.
Prize Fighter was the song that introduced me to John Garcia. I cleared my schedule and looked for him anywhere he came close to mic and now I’m informed. Cheers
Bought this when it came out and never stopped listening to it. It's a genius mix, so rough yet its perfect.
I saw them live yesterday and it was fucking awesome! John Garcia even said they were working on an album. STOKED
1 billion thumbs up it’s not easy to find SLo Burn in real life thank you! . Amazing and thank you they didn’t put out much but could have. Every song is a a banger and those who don’t know should also check or Unida Urban Coyote. That and this are greatest rock out albums ever.
You can add "Hermano" to that mix.
I was around back then and a big Kyuss fan. I was a Homme fan. But this album proved to me that it wasn't just Josh pulling the strings. Garcia could make an epic album album on his own. And he's made a lot of them since the break up. And he doesn't play an instrument. Garcia was just if not more influential in Kyuss.
+Paul Eb Check out wikipedia, a lot of Kyuss songs are credited to Brant Bjork.
+Ogre yes man tat what i thought some weeks ago about john garcia ... there are not so much great singers and hes one of them, i mean singer...but u could know what im talking about..
Many can play fuzzy like Homme, but nobody can sing like Garcia!
Brant, on the other hand is precise composing machine.
Why is nobody mentioning Brant Bjork. This man was the founder of Kyuss, Give him some credit as well. While they came up with ideas together Homme claimed it to be his by making him the publisher.
I think that Brant regrets not getting his name in on the publishing rights. Brant was the musician and Homme was the businessman. Now we can't get a proper Kyuss reunion because these middle aged me can't stop fighting over naming and publishing rights.
July is one of his best!
I was eighteen when listened to theese stuffs.. i still listening.
ebbravo Marzio!
I cant believe Round trip is just a misc song on this album. Its gotta be one of the most badass pieces of music ever, the intro especially
Slo Burn - Spálený Slon! :)
God I love stoner rock, I only ever heard a few of these songs by chance on 89.5 pirate radio at work, so awesome to listen to the whole album, Garcia is my favorite singer
Wow!!! I really love this!!!! I had heard of this band but never actually listened to them before. This band is awesome. Thanks for posting this.
The show was freakin' amazing and I also got the chance to hang out with John and Ehren, those guys are incredible!
yes! saw them in London a couple of weeks ago. it was perfect!
Man, this is really fucking good.
***** Indeed.
I remember seeing them at Ozzfest. They were supposed to play two sets on the side stage. When it came time for the second set the drummer was off playing rock Star somewhere and didn’t show up so set 2 didn’t happen. And that was the last anyone ever heard of Sloburn 😂
This album makes me smile.. just amazing
July brought me here, The Prizefighter got me hooked. Hoooly shit
This makes me wanna travel through the country with my motocycle man
This is probably the only album I listen to when I ride, rolling heavy through the desert
@@tonymarcum2571 what do you guys use to listen to music while riding? Looking into options right now.
@@austinsimmons7782 Personally, I… SLEEP!
For me, it's fly through the desert in a '72 convertible Chevelle.
Slo Burn is a luxury that not many people have the fortune to enjoy
I guess I'm one of the "lucky few" as well then, mate.🤘🤘🤘
I'm from Chile, a lost country in South America and i feel that music connects every corner of this universe, cheers bro!
@edoslacker I'm from the same state where Kyuss, Unida, and Slo Burn are from (California). Kyuss, Slo Burn, and Unida are my favorite stoner rock/metal bands ever...🤘😈💯🔥🤙My favorite genres are metal, industrial, rock, alt., grunge, and stoner rock/metal 👍
@@krztorooindustries that's just wondeful! i really think that this band could have been a gigantic thing, knowing that metallica tried to do stoner things in load and reload but they failed at captivating this thing!
@edoslacker Ntm I really love Sleep, Red Desert, Fu Manchu, and Nebula as well, bro 👌👍💯💥🤘😄 🏜😎
Mike Garcia is by far one of the greatest singers. Always fits perfectly with the music. In any band thats hes in.
Lol Mike Garcia

Had to give this a listen on 420. Amazing stuff!
I remember when this was on Spotify, thanks Giulio.
Thanks so much. Finally found Positiva after 6 years
All the things you want me to be, but honey you can't conceive a slow burn.
Just heard last night..instantly one of my fav albums ever
I sincerely hope everyone involved in the making of thisd album understand how unsung they are, FUCKIN AWESOME
discovered some crispy rips on here! Thanks for sharing!
Positiva then Cactus Jumper is one hell of an experience
riffs of kyuss are absolutely great but its that voice that made that band. so glad i found more of it
How beautiful ... God bless all of you!
I wish this band released another album
on their instagram account they seemed to point in that direction for next year, hope is true, hope is another album coming up
yeah, they will attend on several stoner-desert fests on 2017, i'm sure they will praise the reunion with an album.
oh shit
to bad garcia played high and mighty with dave ya he could hes one of the best ever and now is he even out
Songs like july postiva muzeli cactus jumper calm me down so much when i hear it
such a bad ass album wish it got more credit and it's due.
90s fire still burn'n
Never gets old! Love this channel! Can’t find this album anywhere but here.. whoa! 🎉
2019 & still the most beutifull and powerfull rock there in the universe..
put this 20 minute masterpiece in a time capsule...bury it into the ground...and call it was it is.... the greatest testament of desert/stoner rock. period.
Garcia = stoner rock god
furiously. a band where you can orient yourself in the desert. love
One of the best desert rock albums ever made! Love from Sweden
I'm not a stoner, but god damn do I love stoner rock
Absolutely love this record. Discovered it like twelve years ago just looking for new music and I lost track of this, but "Pilot The Dune" was always in my head. God damn if that song, and this whole album, isn't just incredible. Thanks for uploading.
2021 and still fuzzing🤘
Pilot the Dune makes me feel 16 again, smoking pot during spares and sleeping with the goth/punk girls in high school. This EP and Hermano, QotSA, Kyuss, Fu Manchu, etc is all I would ever listen to back then.
Great dude!
Man this one REALLY needs a reissue!
One of the best pieces of rock with so much emotion n energy
John Garcia is Kyuss the last few QOTSA albums are dire.
kyuss garbage & tthis kick ass cause dave involved
1998/2020,.. 🙏🏻💚 long time together
Thanks for the upload Ive been playing the hell out of this for the past couple of days.
This album is on-par with anything that Kyuss made.
Too bad it is an EP with a few unfinished songs tacked on at the end. A comprehensive vinyl release of this extra material would be awesome.
And yes, on par with Kyuss.
It`s called being in a band. Of course Brant or Josh wanted John to sing a song they had written the way they wanted it to be and John sang his songs the way he wanted them to be
Donnie Blanko Even though i like this , i don't think so, but discussions like this lead to nowhere.
@@Abrahamhamham Constructive criticism. I always thought it a shame QOTSA was lacking what Garcia brings to a project.
At the time it was pooh-poohed by 'critics' for being too similar to Kyuss. It was too soon apparently...
Happy to say I own every version of this record!
Honestly, this album is even better than best Kyuss albums
As is Unida
This is good, sounds a little more tight and slightly better-produced than Kyuss judging by the opener. Thanks for posting it!
Positiva.
This album spreads energy like a nuclear blast
I ordered this album on CD on eBay and it came all the way from Australia 🇦🇺 🤘🏜🦘 Hopefully, blokes and sheilas, it's the same version of the album which is played in this video... 📹 😀 😉 🤔 💯
un po 'di formaggio, pomodori, olio d'oliva, buon pane caldo e questa musica straordinaria purificherà la mia anima dalle impurità! cazzo bellisimo !!
Thank you for upload! sick
last night in london was unreal! couldn't dream of a better show.
Oh man I somehow totally missed this project, awesome surprise!
Kilimanjaro is a snow covered mountain 19,710 feet high, and is said to be the highest mountain in Africa. Its western summit is
called the Masai “Ngàje Ngài,” the House of God. Close to the western summit there is the dried and frozen carcass of a leopard. No one has explained what the leopard was seeking at that altitude.
Amazing
