THANK YOU!!! I taught myself the idea of the with of the ball vs the with of the hole last year and it worked well but I completely forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder. Great tip
Great to see a simple and novel approach to help with putting. Got me thinking of making a hole size disk I could lay on the practice green to putt over. Generally I try to pick out a mark/spot 1 - 2 ft in front of the ball to roll over but the idea of an imaginary hole is great. Why is it the 3 - 4 footers are the worst.
Whether putting or chipping - ask 2 questions, 1st, is this flat uphill or downhill? 2nd, is this straight, will it fall right or left when it loses speed? Once you answer those, you’ll have a clearer picture = decisive & confident. Enjoy trying this!
Only problem is you can't put two tees on the green during your match. Hell, I could sink 8-10 with two tees spaced in front of the hole. Think about that....
I understand that. What I'm saying is it's easy to make a stroke/putt on the ball when it's between two tees from 6 ft in. The best tip I ever received was to widen your stance on short putts. If you have the yips, all the tips in the world won't help. Cue up Tom Lehman
Thanks Drew for your comments - I would suggest giving this a good try for 20-30 min to start building the visual & first foot “no doubt” habits. Enjoy!
Great psychology. Putting is all about confidence. Thanks for the video.

It's called a practice drill, you don't do it while you're playing 😂
