The bar scene took me out for sure, just the way he so subtly locked that door and the way the bikers faces were starting to show that expression of "I think we messed up on this one boy's."... 😂😂😂... It's a lot of really well written scenes and great acting in my opinion. Also the little cameo from Joe Pesci made me want some more Joe in life. .
The guy who killed Sonny, C said in his monologue that he was the son of the bat guy who got killed by Sonny all those years ago. An eye for an eye and the world is left blind, one revenge follows an other and the cycle never stops
Maybe it's De Niro's humor that he played a man with racist tendencies, of all things, while in real life he was always primarily into black women, but that's what true acting is, when you can play the opposite of who you actually are.
C asked about the sauce because it's tradition among italians (or at least used to be back in the day) that to marry a girl she is tested by the son's mother if she can make good sauce for the pasta, if she can it means the son will not be starving once he leaves his parents' home C asking her if she can make sauce is because he's so head over heels that he's already thinking of marriage
Oh my God!!! Now that adds even more to the dialog 🤔 .... Thanks for that, so it's literally a whole customary thing over there. My cousin is married to an Italian and the family from Italy came all the way over for the wedding. I'm going to ask her about it because her husband from what I see come from the old school of those customs, his family literally were forcing people to eat more and more at the reception 🤦♂️😂😂 and I was told it's something about there customs back home 🤷♂️😂..
Actually Robert De Niro planned to have the role of Sonny, but Chazz (who played Sonny) was willing to give this story and accept it as a movie only if he played Sonny. He was also offered a lit of money to change his mind but never worked out. Finally Deniro settled to play C's father and let Chazz play his childhood idol Sonny.
@Sarah Zaza oooh ok so my guy Robert De Niro did want that role and a big money offer was put on the table for Chazz to allow this but he wasn't budging 😂. Well I think it ultimately worked out better with Chazz playing Sonny. Great piece backstory there 👏 and if you have any movie recommendations definitely don't hesitate to list a few off for me and whatever I haven't seen I'll check it out 👌...

Thank you for this reaction one of my favorite movies. The you know being able to talk about black and white being together in that day was very hard or even to think about trying to date a black girl back then was unthinkable I love the way Sonny talks about it f*** your friends at the end of the day if you're happy that's all that matters that's real.
Hey appreciate it and the subscribe big big thanks 🙌... Now Sonny is for sure my guy, he said a lot of real. I was rocking with how he told C not care what anybody thinks and how tried to keep C out of trouble with his friends was too cool..
An unfortunate reality of those times the 50s and the 60s was the blatant racism!! I'm 65 years old and I can remember riding my bicycle as a child and going through a black neighborhood and literally being scared out of my mind because I was being yelled at and even chased!!!
@Bernard Salvatore I'm so thankful to not have lived in those times because man that's just not the way life should have to be lived for anyone but thank God 🙏 for some progression.
Them bikers had it coming. That was 9/10's of an ass whooping they got right there. At least the neighborhood would never have to worry about motorcycle noise pollution again. 😂
Great reaction! One of my childhood favorites...those NYC Italian OGs where a different breed bro lol definitely one of a kind. Glad to see movies like this get more views. As far as the racism is concerned, back then every ethnicity protected theyre hood from outsiders. Italians only were cool with other italians & didnt let blacks, Latinos or other whites into theyre hood. Crazy times bro.
Absolutely correct I was just going to comment the same thing but first I decided to scroll through!! I'm glad I did see this comment, and yes this is actually based on Chaz experience as a child when the exact same thing happened to him!! I'm not sure about the rest of the screenplay as far as C growing up and everything that happened there, but the actual event of the guy getting shot by Sonny was a real event!!! Right down to the part where is dad comes and drags him back upstairs and the cops coming question him and he covers for Sonny!!

This is his directorial debut as a director. He probably felt that the story from the narrator's point of view was most important than his screen appearance.
My favourite part of any movie is when de niro is talking about the working class and how they’re the real tuff guys. One of my favourite scenes and means a lot now days with most workers
Man C’s dad is a real one for standing on his morals you said keeping the money was the right thing to do, but I keeping it would have sent a different message than returning it which I think made a big impact on C when he’s older
C got dropped off right in front of his house, he got special treatment. There were stops but busses didn't stop at every stop unless you would ring the bell so the driver knew he had to stop at the next stop. That's why Jane is dropped off at the corner of Webster Ave.
@Stephen Ulmer greatly appreciate the movie recommendation it's definitely on the list now. I'm a fan of Jennifer Tilly but haven't seen to many of her films outside of Chucky 😂. I can't wait to see her acting ability in something like that 😀.

Hey, man. Good reaction. Have you ever seen 'Once Upon a Time in America'? You mentioned during the reaction that you're big on gangster/crime movies and how you've seen the classics, but that this one somehow slipped under the radar for you. I was wondering if maybe the one I just mentioned above, which also stars Rob De Niro, might've slipped under your radar too. If you haven't seen it, then I recommend it.
@leniobarcelos First, let me say thanks for hanging with me on the channel and I did react to it. If you check the "Movie Playlist" you'll see it and thank you thank you for the movie recommendation and if you have any other recommendations please just list them out. I will gladly take any other movie or show recommendations you have, and if I haven't seen it, it'll go on the list 👊...
Romeo & Juliette meets Goodfellas. They dropped him because of Deniro, deniro directed, and sonny was played by Chazz Palmenterri who the story is loosely about. He brought the story to deniro to direct cuz no one else would. Deniro went to see his one man show and wanted to make the movie. Every studio didn't want to do with chazz cuz he's unknown. Chaz wanted to play sonny and deniro agreed, he said you play sonny and I'll play Lorenzo and I'll direct. He still does his one man shows today.
If you like all gangster movies you should check out The Wanderers (1979) about rival street gangs in the Bronx NY, set around 1963. It has both action and humor.
It’s not much but I gave you a subscription. I want to see you grow. You’re a good reactor and I’d love to see more brody. I see you pushing that content and doing your thing. I so like the video too.
@Krizzy Blakc Mane, that subscribe means everything and I greatly appreciate you subscribing 🙏. Thanks for the support. I'll definitely keep the content coming and also if you have any recommendations on what I should watch next, make sure to let me know 👌....
@Bernard Salvatore mane the way they kept not giving a for sure answer on whether it was over a parking spot or not was throwing me for a loop 😂😂... I was told a little after in the comments it wasn't over the parking spot but thank you thank you for letting me know... Did they say how he might've disrespected the neighborhood or is it supposed just be like, ay if you know then you know like actually lived in the neighborhood within the movie but for the real life viewer it's just ain't no telling?
I don't know if you're a fan of The Sopranos at all but there was a similar situation in The Sopranos where the character Ralphie beat a dancer to death outside of the club that was a partial headquarters for Tony Soprano's mob family!! Ralphie was told that he disrespected Tony and disrespected the Bing by doing what he did and it's a similar situation!! Baseball bat guy should have never let his road rage get the better of him in that neighborhood and especially in front of Sonny!! That's the way I interpret it!! And the fact that Joe Pesci the guy that got hit with the bat was high up in the organization apparently and was probably someone who Sonny respected quite a bit!!
Appreciate your movie pick but I definitely saw both Boondock Saints movie's and both were literally solid classics back to back... If you think of something else though please 🙏 let me know....

@Bigz-tb6fd thanks for rocking with the content mane, I appreciate it... I think there's a total of 3 to 4 seasons left I have not seen yet and thinking about reacting to them for the channel...
@SPTanga first and foremost I appreciate your critique. Let me start by saying in my other reactions, not all of them but a few of them I briefly state that my headphone volume for the movie or show im watching is louder than my mic volume inside my headphones. Meaning I can't even hear myself talking I can only hear the movie/show so I'm not missing any dialog for real 💁♂️. Also because of my commentary throughout the video I'm able to technically have more of the actual movie/show content be shown in the reaction video in comparison to other reaction channels.... Again this is not to come at you but to simply give you some closer insight somewhat on why I choose to do my reaction videos the way I do them...
Looks like you found one for me to add to the list. It's definitely going in there I have so much stuff stockpiled that I have to edit out to get you all but it's coming 👊👊

@gallo162 before looking at the title to confirm exactly what it said I started the intro and wasn't sure if it was titled "A Bronx Tale" or "Bronx Tale". Also the intro is to help get past copyright instead of just jumping straight into the reaction since I'm pretty much showing the whole movie so I try to find any loophole but I do hate you didn't enjoy the video and hope that you do find better content 👌...

The guy who killed Sonny, C said in his monologue that he was the son of the bat guy who got killed by Sonny all those years ago. An eye for an eye and the world is left blind, one revenge follows an other and the cycle never stops
That's deep meaning there. Unfortunately that's a true statement of life.
This movie is based on the real-life childhood of actor Chazz Palminteri (Sonny, the boss). It became a play first, then a movie.

Bro your page gets crazy views with low sub count. That’s how I know you the goat 🐐
I fuck w your reaction bro bro you funny af 😂
good coming to age movie
It really is, up there with something like Stand By Me in my opinion.
Best reaction to a movie on CZcams.
I appreciate that thank you thank you 🙏🙏
Whatever I hate seen I'll check out for sure...
The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre, and Some Like it Hot are very old mobster movies, and good ones too.
@6153calme hey thanks for the movie picks. They're now added to the top of the list....
my g!! i watch this joint at least once a month!
Good reactions bruh ‼️💯✊ my fav mob movie hands down trill spill☕️
Appreciate it mane!!! I'm a try and keep it coming and if you have any recommendations let me know 👊👊
@@coolrj55 no doubt you should do a reaction to this movie called “sin nombre” about the ms13 pretty dope movie🔥
Great job man love your reactions bro specially your blood in blood out thats my favorite, u should consider watching forrest gump its a good movie
Wait wait u said u like mob movies u should cosider scarface and Goodfellas they are definitely certified classica
@Alx Vta Mane I'm so glad you're enjoying the content 🙏 thank you thank you. Also, all classic pieces of film you listed but unfortunately I've definitely seen all of those and Scarface is my favorite 😁... I will gladly take any other movie or show recommendations you have, and if I haven't seen it, it'll go on the list 👊...
real talk, flick was one of my shits back in the gap
Ay also I got the Reaction for Strapped done so ay.... It's on the way 👌
Romeo & Juliette meets Goodfellas.
Great insights
Deniro directed this, I think that’s why his role was minimized a bit!
@Desmond Powell oh now that's dope and interesting info. That adds even more value to the film for me 👍👍...
a good one if u haven't seen is The Untouchables
Definitely appreciate the recommendation and support 🙌 but I definitely seen that classic film and it was hands down amazing 👏
This was all true events! Based on sonny
If you like all gangster movies you should check out The Wanderers (1979) about rival street gangs in the Bronx NY, set around 1963. It has both action and humor.
🙌 appreciate the movie. I haven't seen it so I'm definitely watching it for sure. I'm a take your word it's a good movie now 👊
It’s not much but I gave you a subscription.
NOT OVER A PARKING SPOT, BUT BECAUSE OF DISRESPECT!! BASEBALL BAT GUY DISRESPECTED THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND SONNY!!
The kid in the beginning also plays Elvis the half brother in free willy 2.
So he's been in some stuff then. I never saw Free Willy 2 only the first one. Was he any good in it?
@@coolrj55 it's a good movie. Worth doing a reaction to make money especially for the nostalgia aspect.
The Boondock Saints
Appreciate your movie pick but I definitely saw both Boondock Saints movie's and both were literally solid classics back to back... If you think of something else though please 🙏 let me know....

Best reaction to this movie ever. Carry-on.
@Jack Cerro greatly appreciate you rocking with me 🙏 and if you got any movie recommendations in mind please let me know 👌...
Bronx Tale💯💯💯
I think one of the movies that kid played in was Free Willy 2 and he was also in this show called Veronica Mars
This is based on a true story…
My first car had locks like that can confirm the only relationship i had that didnt end shitty from that time she passed the sunny test
@Chad Whiteclaw man that's what's up 😂👌👌. I think it's time for me to invest in an old school 😂...
Watch King of New York. I think that it’s from the 90’s and it’s got a great cast. Christopher Walken, Larry Fishburn, Wesley Snipes and more.
@Steven DeMilo I appreciate the movie recommendation and I'll be checking it out soon 👊...
This America ain't no more. What you're watching is no more.
enjoying the reactions! looking forward for more content!
Have you seen the sopranos?
@Bigz-tb6fd thanks for rocking with the content mane, I appreciate it... I think there's a total of 3 to 4 seasons left I have not seen yet and thinking about reacting to them for the channel...
My dude, you talk over the sound throughout the reaction. Kills the whole point of the reaction for people.
This is 2real g
@Tyrone Marley I greatly appreciate your comment 🙏
Bro...my people are saying you look like a young version of me...except without braids!😛
I seem to look a lot like a few people for some reason 🤷♂️😂😂
State of Grace about the Irish mob is great too...has Gary Oldman and Sean Penn
Looks like you found one for me to add to the list. It's definitely going in there I have so much stuff stockpiled that I have to edit out to get you all but it's coming 👊👊
THE ONLY OTHER THING I REMEMBER THAT KID IN WAS HE PLAYED KID TONY SOPRANO ON SOPRANOS, SEASON 2 OR 3 I THINK!!!
@Bernard Salvatore oh for real I gotta go back in see. I forgot which episode I left on Sopranos but I know it's like 2 seasons all together left that I still have to watch..
Bruh, You’re just talking and rambling through the whole movie and you’re missing some of the most important parts.
Just chill and watch it. Smh
I got annoyed over the random wb comment lol but then i think you're the only reactor to this movie that reacted to the boxing seat scene. It was a cool take and the excitement over the door test was awesome.
You didn't see him throw that bottle back..
@Migz2682 maaaaan my bad mane 😂 my brain be a little all over the place 😂😂 but I'm glad you still enjoyed the video... Also I saw what you were talking about with the bottle being thrown back, great catch on that I don't like missing stuff thanks for letting me know 👍👍... When I edited these video's it takes me a while because I try to put in what I think are the most interesting scenes and it's so many in this film it just made it that much more difficult on the editing process 😅... Now that damn door test, maaaan 😂😂😂 I said I got to buy me an old school just to try it out that man gave some real game to me and C 😂.... Also to if you have any movie recommendations definitely list a few out for me and I'll check out whatever I haven't seen 👊....
Yeah! One of my favs
I wonder whatever happened to C's mom when he turned 17.
The kid in this movie the main charcter actually in real life killed a cop was sent to prison for a long time He's out now He's a real gangster

Have you seen the 2005/2006 version of Carlitos way: Rise to power
@Shaquille Burton I appreciate the recommendation for such good film but sadly I have definitely seen it. I was such a big fan of Carlitos Way with my boy Al Pacino in the leading role so when I heard about the prequel I jumped on it when it dropped.. Definitely throw out more recommendations if you have any just from that movie recommendation I can tell you have good taste in dope films 😁👍...
Love to see another street kid.
He was in that movie with Shaquille O'Neal 😂 Kazaam
Maaaaaaan I thought he looked familiar smh that kid was kinda a brat in Kazaam 😂😂...
@@coolrj55 I couldn't agree more, he was a brat😂😂😂
It was definitely much more in the way of segregated communities and neighborhoods back in those days and there are today!!!
Now youse cant leave 😂
@Chad Whiteclaw 😂😂
I'm a mega fan of the Mafia/Mob/Crime Drama genre too👊🏽I saw the Bronx Tale at the movie theater as well as so many others mob flicks. The one that slipped me tho I caught on TCM one night. 1973 "The Mean Streets". I believe the 1st pairing of Robert DeNiro(actor) & Martin Scorsese(director)!! Off the chart hella good. You must check it out.
Well salute to a fellow mob watcher 🙌 .... I've heard of Mean Streets but never got around to checking it out but I'll definitely add it to the list. Thanks for the recommendation I can't wait to see what it's hitting on. And the dynamic duo of Robert DeNiro and Martin Scorsese is on this, oh yeah it sounds like a classic already....
Mean Streets is gorgeous, the neon lights. And one of Deniro's best parts
OH, AND CALOGERO IS CHAZ PALMINTERI' S REAL FIRST NAME!!
@Bernard Salvatore man get out of here. That's crazy now I'm just finding that out. Great interesting fact you just gave thanks 👌... I just saw Chaz in that New Law and Order, I think that man might be a swavy vampire because it doesn't look like that guy ages at all 😂😂...

wow 72 min video. you liked it.
@x_mau9355 I loved it!!! Mane I watched this film a couple of times after the reaction at random times and seeing something a little different that i didn't notice before each time I watch it 😂...
how on earth do you not know if youre saying it correctly? which part had you confused? "A," "Bronx" or "Tale?" and tbh... wtf was the intro?? you wanna model for us for 10 seconds before addressing us? wow. good luck bro.
@@coolrj55 oh ok. fair one. apologies.
If you'd like to see DiNero in another light, watch Jackie Brown!
Maaaaaaan that would've been a great reaction but it's definitely something I've seen and is part of my favorite movies list.
Thank you for the movie pick though and if you have anything else please 🙏 let me know
A Bronx Tale was a true classic. It was based on Robert Deniroe life.
False it's based on Sonnys (chazz palminteri) real childhood
React to the movie 187 next with Samuel L Jackson plz

@Bugzy maaaaaaan I wish didn't see it so I could do the reaction to it 🤦♂️😂😂.. Sorry mane but it's definitely one of my favorite Al Pacino roles. The character Carlito was so bad ass and fly can't lie. I thought the sequel to it was ight but definitely not as good as the first.
