I appreciate you guys so much! The things I get exposed to through this podcast are life changing. At the end of some of these I get a similar feeling to the aftermath of an awesome UFC card. Great work guys! Super inspiring!
This was an amazing chat. Very insightful. The way Kevin simplifies complicated topics is very impressive. Short and concise answers addressing every part of the question. Thanks guys for this.
This is probably one of my best mfm episodes, if not the best! Gotta listen to this episode over again, too many gems dropped by the guest. 💎💎💎💎💎 Great job guys!!
The conversation between Kevin Ryan and Sam Altman is engaging and informative. They discuss a wide range of topics, including the importance of hiring fast, the value of investing in growth, and the importance of having a clear vision for your company.
Insightful interview, and it's fascinating to learn how successful entrepreneurs like this billionaire founder think and find those billion-dollar business ideas. Thanks for having this kind of content, really appreciates it.
This chat has been truly exceptional, offering profound insights. Kevin's ability to simplify complex subjects is genuinely impressive. Thank you both for this valuable interaction.
the thrill of innovation, the opportunity to solve problems, and the chance to create something new and valuable. As for choosing from unique website options, it can indeed be challenging, but remember that your decision should align with your specific goals and audience, so take your time to evaluate which one resonates best with your content and objectives - it's all about finding the right fit for your vision!
Chairman over CEO ✅✅✅ "I don't want their job because I can run multiple companies as a Chairman". A man needs to open his mouth once to reveal how big he really is. Kudos, Mr Kevin Ryan!
Phenomenal interview! As great as the guest was, i have to say you guys asked *excellent* questions and did a great job of getting out of the way and letting him answer. Also, amazing job of keeping it light while not letting the laughs overshadow the business part. *1 new subscriber*
Best episode yet - my kids and I listen on the way to their high school; I'm a techie turned VC and - super biased - work with Kevin Ryan :D. Amazing episode, so glad Kevin came on the pod!
I am always listening to your podcast; You guys are so great, and I feel like I too always have ideas that come to my head naturally. I don't do research on ideas, they just come to me organically. I haven't acted on most of them, but I was wondering if there are people who pay for ideas or if there was a way to turn it into a business? I feel like this is a talent I have overlooked my entire life. I have so many ideas I have written over the years and never acted on them and boom, I find out someone did and they are successful... Are there people out there in need of someone like me? LOL
So why did he have a PR team getting him on the show if he's shying away from talking heads gigs? Was there an implied ask for talking to this audience?
@@samparr9899 fair enough. Not questioning anyone's motive here. It was a great interview and an awesome story about his openness and generosity with you even before a big exit.
Obviously Kevin is a very successful, insightful, brilliant businessman. I understand financial statements, business, returns etc.. Yet I do cringe whenever I hear about labor costs increasing & people like Kevin massively justifying putting people out of jobs through automation. These techies actually work hard to ensure people lose their livelihoods, increase human misery & trumpet it as a great thing because they've never understood the human implications of decisions (or maybe they do very well and simply don't care about the human consequences). The world really needs to come to terms with such people, how they affect us. And psychedelics ?? Seriously ? How about spending those millions on an environmental cause?
9:04 would you explain this further. You raise $2M. Are you saying it makes sense to raise when in the next 18mths the company is worth more than $2M or $20M in your example?
3 - Sam, the Cultural Tutor says you shouldn't read a book published within the last 50 years. If that is the case we would not have read Nick Bilton's American Kingpin. Am I right? For this episode lets go with Ben Smith's Traffic: Genius, Rivalry, and Delusion in the Billion-Dollar Race to Go Viral.
I've watched almost all the pods, and this was probably my favourite.
you write this on every podcast. I can see it.
@@ZelenoJabko 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The amount in which I vibe with this guy is amazing! He’s doing it right 🙏🏻🔥
0:46 This backs up my statement from last week. Sam has that tenacious, telemarketer energy.
I’ve dropped off from listening to so many podcasts but I keep back to you guys cause of the quality and consistency of these episodes.

Great episode. MFM has quickly become my favourite podcast by far. Love these unknown guests.
Guys a billionaire and he's use $29 apple headphones because they aren't wireless and work the best.
I use the same because they don’t need to be changed. I am not a billionaire though
Great job taking the lead on this one Sam, I love these unknown superstars.
One of the most valuable things I’ve listened to all year. Kudos to you guys.

Your ability to focus while launching multiple companies each year is truly impressive. What keeps you motivated and excited about entrepreneurship?

Excellent interview, this guy is very cool and super motivating
Great pod. As an entrepreneur, it's so great to listen to others, their mindset and strategy.

Great interview. Super interesting that Kevin doesn't hold any public equities outside of Mongo DB.

I think something magical accidentally happen with the title being “video”. Look at the engagement right away😅😅
First, love that there is no video title
Cool interview. Look at where things are going to be in 10 years time, be the chairman and put together great teams, solve problems.
The only problem with this episode is that it wasn’t 3x longer. Great pod!
Best episode yet - my kids and I listen on the way to their high school; I'm a techie turned VC and - super biased - work with Kevin Ryan :D. Amazing episode, so glad Kevin came on the pod!

7:15 , that resonates with me very well
This is gold! Thank y'all 🔥💸

I'm making three thousand dollar every week from stock investment, I still complain to my FA is not big enough, hope I'm not been greedy at this point

I don't even know if it was PR. I was kidding.

I feel like this guy is secretly 200 years old and halfway through a reverse aging routine until hes 25 again
@20:24 some analysts predict the psychedelic and psychoactive therapy industry will surpass $10 billion by 2027.

Why "How to avoid 1M podcast #477" is not in the My first million podcasts list?
this was awesome
