Barry, a couple of burger related thoughts for me. 1) Ollie's Trolley is still king for me. 2) I had Jay's recently - I very much get the hype (you need to review it!). But they have as restrictive of hours as Ollie's does. 3) Not at the top of the list, but Jagger's has no business being as good as it is for being a fast food restaurant. 4) I haven't had Mussel and Burger Bar for a few years and although I've heard mixed reception about their quality recently, I'd still like to go back and see for myself

I’m excited to do at least one burger in Louisville for Burger Week. On a different note: I’m not sure if you’ve had food from a truck called Tacos Juanito, but I HIGHLY recommend it. He sets up at Commerce Crossings off Preston Highway, entrance right across from Cooper Chapel Rd, Preston Crossings Theater, and Menard’s. On Wednesdays from 10a-2p, he sets up at where Spectrum’s field ops team is based (what was Insight Communications’ headquarters back in the day). Home base for his truck is 5601 Preston Hwy. Mostly I’ve just had his tacos. Simple street tacos in corn tortillas with onions and cilantro. Squeeze a lime wedge over it and give it a nice hit with some hot sauce (Cholula for me) and enjoy. Today, I had his torta, a delicious sandwich with a choice of either chicken or asada with lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, cream, cheese, and chili peppers in vinegar. Chef’s kiss. Tried it today without Cholula and with. Also people rave about his hot dogs! I heard one lady say his are the best in the city. I was at Weekend Burgers yesterday. I got the swiss cheese, mushrooms, and grilled onion burger. My granddaughter got a cheeseburger, with grilled onions. She loved it! I'm hitting the Bambi Bar tomorrow for a burger. Yummy, nothing like a good burger! 🍔

Nice to have Toasty's and Weekend Burger on the list !!! Public House aka Against the Grain on Bardstown Rd with its Dirty Burger 🍔 is another destination. I am happy to see Genny's Dinner has reinvented itself as I was very young when they closed. I remember those Genny commercials, too, the baby guy saying hmm good 😂😅😊. There are several restaurants I have never heard of but I want to try to go eat at them. I recommend (if you haven’t been there) is the Bacon Bleu at the Granville Pub on south 3rd Street. It’s my favorite so far.

It is nothing like a Google ole burger. I stay in Joiston Texas but born and raised in in Fallas Yx. The best burger I had in Houston is Millers Burgers. But back home in Dallas it is nothing like a Griff’s Burger.

Prime Cincinnati, Street City Pub, Bards Burgers & Chili, Gold star chili on dixie hwy. by Dixie heights HS has an excellent smash burger, fries & drink for $7 during burger week, Delites in Maysville, Ky. Putters, Dunlap Cafe & By Golly's are all excellent burgers, but I could do 5 to 10 more than are just about as good, that we've tried.
