I was so FRUSTRATED trying to connect my subwoofer back to my soundbar.. but I watched this video, & it literally took 1 minute & turned back on YAY
THANK YOU!! It's 3:55pm and I spent almost ALL day trying to figure out why my sound mode & subwoofer quit working.
After spending 30 minutes on the phone with Samsung, only to have them tell me I needed to spend $128 for service..I decided to search CZcams.
Resetting the soundbar and subwoofer worked!!!

@@jbatistabr They didn't charge for phone support. They were planning on servicing the person's parts themselves which would cost money (e.i. service come to their house or they bring the products in to them)

if this dont work for u then make sure ur sound bar is off and press and hold the circle button in the middle of the arrows thats what worked for mine instead

Your videos are great and super informative. I just purchased the HW-B650. All that being said, any advice to eliminate or at least limit the humming that is coming from the subwoofer? Seems to be constant and is obviously very noticeable when there is limited noise in what's being watched. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
@user-ei4gt4eg4k Thank you for the kind words! Take a look around the subwoofer. It there are devices emitting bluetooth or other wireless signals, like a wi-fi router, they may be interfering and causing the subwoofer to hum.
@@abtelectronics thank you for the response. Turns out the sub was within five feet of the wifi, opposite wall of the TV/soundbar. Moved it across the room to the near the TV/soundbar, and it's still humming. I was so stoked that the solution could be that easy. If you have any other suggestions, I's sure love to hear them!
@user-ei4gt4eg4k If the router is putting out a strong signal, it might still be the cause of the humming. Unfortunately there are cases where it's more difficult to pinpoint the cause of interference like you're experiencing, which makes it harder to fix. Do you have the ability to install your router in a different room altogether? We realize that might not be the easiest thing, or even possible, but if you can do it it might be worth a try. Good luck!

If you have an older model then make sure the subwoofer is blinking and the sound bar is off and then hold the mute button on the remote. And then it should say Id set on the soundbar meaning you are connected
mine just brings up accessibility shortcuts..

Like almost all other owners of this Samsung stuff I struggled a long time to make it happening. Pairing the sw with the sb. Just because the manual of Samsung’s sucks! Even more, it is completely wrong I noticed after seeing this video This is totally different from what Samsung wrote: device on power off, and on again Five seconds mute while the sw if off???Not only confusing, just false information.
So, I’m very happy to ran into your video. After two days wrestling and became almost crazy, it was fixed in literally 10 ten seconds. You’re the best and even more if you tell Samsung they have to rewrite their stupid manual.
