Sounds like a great entertaining combo. Does the ice fishing thing seem different?
@michaeltaylor4984
The videos all follow my format and style. Everything revolves around making an adventure on the 2 days I have off from my regular job. I went out on the ice this weekend. You'll have to check out Tuesdays video.
@@KennyOfAllTradesThank you. Waiting for Tuesday.
Cleaning up after Tweakers.. Having Sasquatch throwing rocks at him.
That smoked meatloaf should have attracted every Bigfoot within a 5 mile radius 😊! I could almost smell it through my television!
My family had a cabin on Little Thunder Lake for many many years. I was a small child growing up into my teens before they sold it and built another in Hackensack. We were there every single weekend and week vacations every year. We never once had any sightings or hearings of a bigfoot...EXCEPT one time!! Me and my grandfather, mother and 2 brothers were quietly bobber fishing at the very secluded last bay on the lake.
Beautiful, clear, sunny summer day. Out of nowhere we heard a very loud "scream" - several. We all froze. It was a sound that none of us ever heard before. It sent terrifying chills completely through your body. My grandfather motioned (nobody dared talk) to me to pull up the anchor. We were gone! It took a long time before we went that far to fish again. That was at least 55 years ago. Its feels like yesturday. My mom and both brothers recently talked about this. We all clearly remember this day.
That's a nice area. My girlfriend is from Hackensack. We know the area very well.
@@KennyOfAllTrades We loved both places, however, I have to say that I liked Little Thunder much better. It was spring fed, cold, clear reddish in color. You could see straight down quite a way-sometimes 20 feet if the conditions were right. Back then, (1970-1990), huge northern pikes, many good size crappies and sunfish. Back when we had our cabin, one whole side of the lake (which was probably 3/4 of a mile long) was part of the Chippewa National Forest. Therefore protected land. No one could build on it. It was a great lake, only, maybe, 25 cabins on it at the time. Very peaceful. Except for the loons who liked to hold lengthy conversations in the middle of the night...all night. Lol.
As a kid growing up in Northern Maine, I use to spend all my days playing outside in the woods. I remember vividly hearing tree knocks and having rocks wiz by me and I’d be completely alone. There was also that feeling that someone was there watching, but no one was ever there. This was over 30 years ago, but the memory has stayed with me all this time.
Also just wanted to say that we’ve been following your channel for about a year now and love your videos. Thank you for good, wholesome content. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
@@northwoodssimpleliving8401You weren't alone.
Definitely sounds like some classic squatch behavior.
@@northwoodssimpleliving8401where in Maine?
Bigfoot has nothing to worry about from you. You respect nature and the environment. You don't go chasing them or nosing around. Bigfoot is like Santa....he knows who's naughty and who's nice. Safe travels Kenny😊
I love that camper u tubers always clean up the trash left behind by thoughtless users. It is so admirable that you do this. Great job on the meatloaf and enjoyed the sasquatch conversation.
Absolutely brilliant picnic table fire block! I have not any personal experiences. But my good friend who is 100% Sioux has told me so many stories. Past down through the generations, and her own personal experiences. I believe..Sunday morning with the snow on the lake beautiful.
We were just by the Draper Fire Tower a few weeks ago checking out logging roads and getting firewood for our property in Fifty Lakes.
We saw Bigfoot on 3-24-22 at about 10pm just North of Cuyuna Rec Area on Highway 6 before Emily. Turned a corner and in the break of the treeline a Bigfoot was standing. We just knew right away what it was... There was no mistaking it! Way too tall and too broad of shoulders to be anything else.
Thanks for this episode!
Thanks for sharing that ! I'm assuming that is in Minnesota ? Those critters are everywhere , me thinks .
That's an awesome story. That episode a few weeks back where the campsite was trashed is in that State Rec Area.
And of course we believe you. Can you show us some evidence?
@@tdropper Easier to believe than convicted crooks running for president?
There is enough credible witnesses and evidence to believe that it's a real animal, there is also a ton of hoaxers in there to muddy it up
Kenny, you are a credit to humankind. Your attitude to life, the environment and conservation are exemplary. You have a relaxed and honest approach to the world, which serves as therapy and a blue print for life guidance. I came across your videos by accident and I'm already hooked. Please keep them coming and all the best for 2024 🙂
Thank you for the kind words. I'm really happy you found the channel! I hope you have a happy and safe new year. I'll keep posting videos every Tuesday, bringing you camping in Minnesota through the TV.
I agree hes a wonderful person
For the exception of the political side of Minnesota, I love this state. The solitude and beauty of each season in Minnesota is unmatched. Your channel is a perfect example of what this state has to offer. As long as you stay away from the bigger cities.
I agree 100% 👍 I have said it before, I would be fine with a line drawn east to west through the town of Royalton separating the state. It would be at the same place where North and South Dakota are separated.
Don’t believe the vote counts, the entire state is red with the exception of St Paul and Minneapolis
Politics are from $atan
As it is in Illinois as well
Most states are largely wild, empty. Over population is a stupid rumor of city folks.
Kenny we are pickup campers and we are big footers. Wife has cast several prints even got a hand print on the hood of our truck. That was an interesting camping trip. Keep up the great videos.
Awesome Dennis , what state do you research ? Im in Oklahoma. I don't go looking for them , they just seem to find me ! Or more likely , we just go to the same places ? who knows . Not scared of the Foots , it's those things with the pointy ears that I don't want to bump into ! Take care out there !

Thank Goodness for a "Kenny of All Trades" video. I had a bad day and Kenny always makes me smile. Keep up the great work home boy!
Same here ❤ He's so mellow and you can trust him and his content. My kind of people. ☝️
Thank you so much. I really appreciate your kind and encouraging words.
I appreciate thar!
I just moved into a new place and hearing those frogs are going to make me miss my last home something bad.
I lived in a school bus for about 5 years with my kitty cat and my bunny and it was just the happiest time of my life.
Those "eyes" you feel behind you, Kenny, are us, your viewers!! Great video and awesome stories!! Again, thank you for what you do!!
Thanks so much
🤣
Wow that smoked meat loaf looked great. Nice!! Yup Bigfoot is real and I'm not kidding here.
You had me at bacon weave…. I’m pretty sure Bigfoot went to Florida for the winter already.
I know Bigfoot exists, he even has his own line of truck campers.
Very true!
That's a good one! Thank you for making me laugh.
Your very brave because there’s no way I’d be out there at night and looking for big foot activity. Nice meatloaf Kenny!!!
I appreciate that. I was hoping I would get a few people feeling uneasy on that midnight walk through the woods.
That meatloaf looks so good!
Annual Bigfoot Convention is held there. Believe. Darryl 2024! All of my lanterns have USFS Bigfoot Dept. on them. As well as my truck. I've never had an encounter, but I believe.
I will say there is something going on in the woods, something that we can not explain. I appreciate you watching the video.
👣thanks for sharing your story 👍
Thanks for another great weekend. I am a Bigfoot believer. Just way too many experiences from such a broad range of people and places to be "nothing". I really enjoy this channel!
Thank you so much. I will agree there's got to be something going on we can't understand or explain.
Great video bring on the ice fishing 👍
What a treat! 2 days! Thanks for cleaning up after trashy humans. Again. I got my Scoff in the mail today!
Still waiting on the cheesy artichoke/spinach bread, but boy oh boy you sure delivered on that meatloaf!
BF wasn’t in the house, because if he was, there is no way he could have resisted that Bacon Bomb!
My Dad built the set for the town in the opening scene of Jeremiah Johnson starring Robert Redford. In Utah.
He and a friend spent the weekend building out the sheriffs office with bunks for the rest of the building crew.
They had just settled in when they heard a low woop woop, just like you described.
My Dad, who was a retired sheriff, had no problem investigating the sound.
He walked around the building and was hit by a stench that almost brought him to his knees.
He hollered and something else hollered, and with a sound of much scurrying, he hightailed it back for his rifle.
Mind you, I only got this story from my Dad after getting him drunk as a skunk.
He would never talk it about, because he and his friend stayed up all night long because they were both so scared.
The visitor continued to walk around the outside of the cabin.
My Dad was a sheriff in Las Vegas during the 60’s…and there was only ONE thing that had ever scared him …that encounter.
Yes please to ice fishing!
The sunset was glorious and I could feel the chill through my bones. Brrrr!
Thanks for taking us along!
Cya next week!
What a coincidence. I stayed up until two am watching Jeremiah Johnson the other night. That was an absolutely awesome movie. I'm trying to get mandy to watch it because I will watch it again! You dad must have had a lot of stories from Vagas in the 60's. I got out of LE when I started the channel. It's cool listening to the old guys tell stories from back in the day.
One of my favorite movies ❤️
@makingtimenowmtn8995 Agreed!
U look like a pro campfire cooking 😀
Great vid again! Be careful, the late great comedian Mitch Hedberg said, "Bigfoot is blurry!"
Everyone knows Bigfoot don't eat apples. They don't agree with him. Next time leave him a hunk of that meatloaf.
One of skunk apes favorite meals is the apple. So many linked stories with apples.
We live in Northern Ontario (Canada). We walk our dog through the woods several times per week and follow the same basic path. A couple of nights ago, we got about five inches of snow overnight. It was hard to believe how many branches had bowed over our path. Amazing how just a small amount of snow could completely change things.
Another great video Kenny. Nice to see you out for two nights.
We had to leave Canada because the winter was coming. Glad we didn't have to deal with that.
Kenny please don’t go out at night alone. Be careful.🐻
I appreciate you watching!
Even though I watched this before, why are you walking alone??
Hey Kenny, my husband and i loved winter camping in Wis. We are older now and have sold our camper, but your videos are just like being there with you. We so appreciate them and have even tried some of your recipes. Just love your camping remote videos and wish we were younger to do it all again. We now camp thru you. Hope you show more waterfalls and northshore area. We also are fond of Grand Marais. Scary video this week.😱
I love to hear this! I make the videos especially for folks like you. I enjoy bringing you along. We will definitely be checking out the waterfalls on hwy 61 this winter. Grand Marais in the winter is beautiful! I'll try to get the Christmas lights in town for you.
That was a good video.
When Kenny said "Now I'm going to cut the cheese" and I thought 'oh no!' 🙂
Lol. I mute the audio for that!
@@KennyOfAllTrades LoL!!!!!!
We had 10' of snow last winter to explain all the trees bent and piled up irregularly.
Love that camp spot.
Bigfoot is the hide and go seek undisputed champion of the world. Undefeated
True story!
Except for the blonde they found dead in the closet....
Oh my gosh Kenny Yummmmmmm!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍 definitely doing that one myself!!!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to clean up the area and for providing us with another great video.
That was so entertaining from start to finish! Thanks.
Thank you!
Great to have a longer video, beautiful camping spot, like hearing your woods mystery experience and yes to more ice fishing
Very enjoyable video
Yah those whooping noises late at night is a sure sign of Sasquatch... Thumb up and thank you for posting...
Also Erie, dead silence.
I’d be more concerned about 2 legged humans in the woods than any creature out there. We live in a scary world. Stay safe! And I’m jealous of your snow. Beautiful peaceful area.
You are 100% spot on!
Always be prepared. Sometimes you may one day have to take action that you would not want to take.
Kenny, you have an excellent channel here! I was born in SW Minnesota too many years ago, so I understand how diverse the land of Minnesota really is. You are doing a terrific job demonstrating what central and northern Minnesota lake areas are about. You truly have to visit these areas to appreciate them. Thanks for bringing Northern Minnesota to me each week!! Nice job!😊
Thank you for the kind words.
Thanks for the ride along. You’ve inspired me to winter overnight camp out of my Humvee. Tested it out last weekend. We don’t have big foot. We have the Yeti sightings. I could have had three of them outside my camp last weekend. I slept right through thanks to the diesel heater. Now I have to learn to campfire cook! Keep up the good work. You’ve inspired me to adventure more.
That is so cool to hear! Thank you do much.

Keep it up sir !! I would love to see some ice fishing !!
I had day care in my home in the woods and I taught all the kids how to build a shelter in case they got lost. They loved to make these shelters all the time just for fun. Some of these things remind me of what the kids did. Having said that, I have seen and heard unexplainable things.
Very cool comment! I think it's great you taught the kids how to keep safe. That was s great idea. I'm not sure kids are out building forts like they once were.
I started watching your videos a month ago and was hooked right away. Mn. Is beautiful looking forward to watching more. Stay safe in your travels.
Great video. That meatloaf looked tasty.😊
Excellent video. Great story telling and beautiful, but cold, location. Thanks for sharing.
Love to see a lot more fishing & and shore lunches
I will make sure it happens!
Been watching your videos since I got my truck camper about a year ago. I'm also a huge believer. Great video brother!
Thank you!

I love ice fishing so I’m a yes for some of those videos. Nice video today Kenny.
One of my very favorite videos!!! Relaxing as usual but the stories had me truly captivated. You walking at night...omg I was creeped out with you. lol. My head would have won playing games with me. Love that recipe on the campfire. Looked delicious. Hmmm Hubby is going away Monday for the day. I will have to make that or something close to it (like make it in the oven). You made me a bit nervous stepping out on that ice!! Glad you are safe and looking forward to the next adventure. Keep them coming Kenny and yes I would like an ice-fishing adventure from you. Hugs!
Thank you so much for the awesome comment. I am just getting home from this weekends adventure. It was a really relaxing weekend. Plus, I was able to get on the ice! The new video will be out on Tuesday. Thanks for watching
Kenny there are to many people with too many experiences in too many areas like you to not believe that something out there does not exist. Enjoyable video.
I will agree with that. I do believe there's things in this world that we are incapable of understanding or explaining.
It was fun seeing a second person, and she did just fine.
Another good one Kenny! Catch ya next Tuesday!
Another good video with one of my favorite topics and great scenary to boot. I'm not so sure about that Blair Witch walk at night you took. I would have been tempted to jog the last 20 yards to the camper. 😀
I was happy to see it!
I'm glad when you got back to your camper Bigfoot wasn't in there eating your meatloaf...LOL I believe in Bigfoot even though I have never seen one or know someone who has but I think anything is possible. I feel the same way you do about the BF thing.
I absolutely love your videos! The cooking recipes are a great touch also. Thanks Kenny!
I really appreciate the compliments. Thanks!
I used to leave red licorice for wildlife and found that the moose liked it the most. Yes please to ice fishing videos and if you keep up the awesome cooking I'm going to have to move to Minnesota so I can accidentally stop over for dinner. Lol

The Lost Forty is my favorite woods area in MN! We were just there in July and we were getting out of the car, grabbing our stuff when a very loud, powerful whooping yell came from the old growth trees. The other folks near us didn’t react, but my wife quickly said what the heck was that? 20 years ago it looked totally different around the protected section..obviously had been recently logged. We were on snowmobiles back then. Love those monster pine’s especially the white pine. I’ve also seen a huge footprint in the woods near my home, a suburb of St Paul, MN of course I didn’t have my phone to get a pic.
That is an awesome story.
I found an old National Forest dispersed campsite just down the road from the Lost Forty. Its one single site on a small lake. That's where I heard the 2 loud whoops. So it was really close to your experience.
Thanks Kenny for another fantastic video and a great recipe (Juicy Lucy meatloaf)…..Safe travels.
