Demo derby has come a long way, 10 thousand dollar motors, NASCAR level tech inspections, it's definitely become a form of professional motorsports. I guess when you're going for 40 grand though stuff is gonna get crazy
When the rules package is as thick as the Bible and guys are crying over a half inch, is it really worth doing anymore? These cars that don't bend do to the build and the sand bagging it just sucks to watch.
They built the car not to bend then the driver will avoid as much damage as he can I don’t understand isn’t it demolishing derby they argue and fuss harder than they hit back in my day guys that couldn’t get out from under a car on their own wouldn’t have made the feature

What kind of rules do these guys have? That not a bumper! That’s a 3/8 inch thick chunk of angle iron, 1/4 inch thick steel plate for a trunk floor and there’s no rest decking lid! Then you have a a crazy looking front end that again doesn’t look stock in any way shape or form!
Cheaters be Cheaters - and when they get caught - cheaters become whiners and "victims". That car was designed from the beginning to be illegal - glad the clown got caught!
This isnt "demolition derby" anymore...this is 50 guys spending 30g to play bumpercars, cry when their frame gets bent or tweaked,use the same car 15 times after using "4-6 patch plates" and all of a sudden it turns into a literal tank after the first "derby"....and for some weird reason the frames dont bend after that first derby😅😅😅.....just a high dollar "derbycar" version of the 80s WWF😅😅 ....its just entertainment😅😅

You are 30 inches with those 2 floor jacks still up in the back. The guy that owns the cars is a local bully you can tell lol.
They jacked it up with the jacks until the bumper height was correct then adjusted the car so that it stayed at that height
