Hi Madhavi , excellent piece of info for all those aspiring to study in France , you have covered all major points . I was in france a decade ago and one of the biggest mistake i did was not to learn french language as my program was in English so as a result getting any type of job is very difficult. Majority of Indian students rely heavily on getting part time jobs with english skills and the so called agents try to potray rosy picture to the student that its very easy to get jobs part time and full time in france , its easy to get PR and so on . But reality is different which you are aware. Its a wonderful experience to study and live in france and the french government is generous via subsidies in travelling / accomodation via CAF etc . The french are very nice and friendly people but for those of you whose aim is to settle here without fluency in French it is very difficult. France is a very nice study destination and affordable as compared to others like US, AUS etc .
Well yeah it’s a harsh reality and it is obvious if you want to stay here then you must know French
