“Reform UK Will Not Win One Single Seat” At General Election Says Andrew Allison

  • Popular Conservatism’s Andrew Allison predicts “Reform will not win one single seat” at the general election.
Reform UK leader Richard Tice said Rishi Sunak had “bottled it” by calling a summer election instead of holding on for the autumn.
At the launch of Reform’s campaign, Mr Tice said the Prime Minister was “absolutely terrified” by his party’s upward progress in the polls at a time when the Tories have slumped.
Reform is averaging around 11% in the polls, ahead of the Liberal Democrats.
Andrew says: “You can hold me to that one and maybe I’ll have to buy you a drink after the election if I’m wrong.”

I don't like the term 'wasted vote' and the rationale behind it which is something like, "the party you will vote for won't win therefore your vote is a waste." If that were true thete would be no point in anyone voting at all. Although our voting system is flawed, one vote is worth one vote, no less and no more no matter who is casting it. It's not "wasted." Yes, your preference may not win, but if you don't vote the chance is even less and if noone voted for that party then they definitely won't. This is an election where people should vote on principle. On what they want. To do otherwise is hypocritical.
