When holding V you can just click on something and the d-scanner aligns there AND Scans in one klick. So you got halve the clicks needed.
The idea of some sort of defence for a solo player on a mobile depot using it as a pos for running deds/wh adventures is amazing. Ive always wanted something to feel safe in the middle of nowhere in my tengu carrying couple billions of loot.

The sense of possibilities and adventure it would create would really freshen Eve up for me, as I’m essentially a lone wolf of 16 years in New Eden and the scope this would afford players like you and I would be fantastic.
I’ve always wanted a smaller ship like an orca but it’s mainly designed for nomad wh living. U can set it up like a pos needing fuel for force field and automated weapons. And when u move u unanchore and u fly it away.
You just convinced me to try out living in Wormhole space with a lil depot to do my own thing, appreciate you dude!

If you bring along a mobile bubble, you can catch some of those transports halfway between a couple wormholes and maybe pop ‘em in your bomber. ;) I lived as a nomad out of a Stratios for a bit with PvP and a PvE fits in cargo containers to maximize storage space in the hold - could pretty easily run any c1-c2 site, plus relic & data sites. Super flexible hull, but it’s crazy expensive now - t3c is probably the way to go for a do-it-all ship; otherwise, I’d bring an exploration frigate for hacking, probably a bomber for hunting haulers, or a combat frigate for hunting explorers.
Watch out for the wormhole police man, they gonna getcha!
Pacifer is my choice for quick scan. Considering the cost of Astero right now for solo life in JSpace plenty of options for a few isk more.
I was thinking of exploring in Nestor but not sure how smart would that be.
I am a big fan of the Proteus because this T3 ship can be quite versatile. Especially as a drone ship you can leave dealing damage to the drones while looting at the same time. Refitted via Mobile Depot you can also switch to a brawling blaster boat that seemingly looses to no one when it gets in range. 😎
I always wanted to fly into a wormhole with my main and an Orca alt. Maybe its about time to finally do it. 🤔

FYI ... the Sansha's Relic sites that are a lvl 3 difficulty scan are the best loot drops. You usually get 1 bin over 50mil on it's own.
7 or 8 years ago I used to run a lot of relic sites (pirate faction and Sleeper) in wormholes. In an Astero with trimark armor pumps and dual armor reps, you can tank the Sleeper damage at the Sleeper sites. Pop the cans and then leave.

Always keep an expanded cargo hold Il in your hold (along with a depot, of course)
A Loki , don’t use a depot as storage they can just be combat scanned down and reinforced, take a small secure container with a password they can’t be combat probed
Each WH has an expiration date. What about when WH collapses? How then do I transport the loot from mobile base to my home base if WH collapses and I don’t want 30 jumps for that route? In this case I would probably need a transport ship and a short route between mobile base and home base to transport loot. How to do it in this case?
as solo Wormholer only with a Mobile depot u wait till the (static) Highsec WH collapse and hope the new one opens near your home. With a POS inside a WH u can switch to a rolling ship and roll the wormhole ;)
Living In C2... Cruise Raven to run combat anoms, Helios to do datarelics and Epithal to move stuff in and out of colonies. And stealth bomber to have some fun from time to time.
Problem with Mobile depot is that its not disapears once you log off. Propablity of it being destroyed and looted is high. So its valid option for a short trip and then scanning your way outm coming in with your alt to pick up your treasures often to avoid situation that couple hundred millions isks are lost due to visit of small pirate group :)
Larger mobile depot with some shielding around would be nice idea but above mentioned cons of depot still remains.
- You will be more effective by using guns instead of torpedo, in case of other fregate ambuching you or just hunt them
- If you want just to hack in wh, explorer fregate T1 or T2 are very effective and enough for that
- If you want to pvp AND explore around, Astero is a must to use
Pacifier, quick and easy to run away if seen on relic/data sites

When u press "Q" ingame u can boat to a specific point in space :)
@@necronlord40k Ahhhh k I see how it works now thx. It's not an orbit in place (with the circle that shows up that's what I thought it was), but rather a goto this spot in space. Thx for the help.
8:37 You can attack and use that Secondary Vector at the same time. You had enough health for 1 click, it would have literally been exactly enough haha.
A cloaked mobile depo would be nice, maybe have half the cargo space if you're able to cloak it. I dont like that depos can just be scanned down and destroyed :/
This was my thought. "Can't someone just scan down your depot and blap it?"
5:30 I use a Buzzard to do scanning. It's very good money. I want to try the combat sites though but I don't know where/how to begin; and am hesitant to go in with a Battleship.
I have trained up for a Manticore actually and am thinking of trying my hand at some light Wormhole piracy ^^
Otherwise I try to ninja some gas/ice sometimes when I'm 'relaxing' (cheap Venture, etc).
8:42 check the targeting range of supercarriers (Nyx, for example). it's easily over 5k km
max range is 300km

It might not have fit this situation, but a POS is a pretty good mobile base.
I want to have a base in WH one day. A small Control Tower with fuel for few days. And a single t3 ship
I did that when WHs first came out. I built a base in a C3, and was in nearly done building a Rorqual inside the WH. Unfortunately, my computer died, and it took me 2 weeks to fix it. By the time I got back, all my stuff was gone. :( I haven't played since.
Combat exploration was the first solo activity that I did, that yealded propper isk, but I got into doing wh combat sites before that, so the first thing I made mad isk from was these C5 combat sites, but not in that group, so can't really do that anymore, was fun though, biggest downside was that it could take a few hours setting up a wh to be "safe" to bring the leshak/nestor fleet into, now doing T3/4 abysses is nice now, as you can pretty much spend as much time as you got on it, it's not a several hour time comitement xD
Exploration in a SB, what happened to the game. Is this actually a thing now?
