Number 1 tip I have for international travel: PLUG ADAPTERS!! This is something that a lot of ppl forget their first time going to a different country. You can get Australia to US adapters here but it’s best to come with them just in case you need them right away.

Yeeees! Trader Joe's!!! I shop there every time I get groceries and I still get excited! Chick fil a is another fast food chain that would be fun to try I think! Duncan is not the best but it's an experience for sure! And I totally get feeling self conscious with acne and even not wanting to go out or take pictures. That has been me since I was a teen. Seeing yours has given me confidence in remembering that I'm not the only one! Hopefully this is a reminder for you that you are not alone either and that you are beautiful no matter what!!!
When you’re in NYC visit the Ripped Bodice in Brooklyn (THE cutest romance only bookstore), Shake Shack in Madison Square Park (original location - burgers, shakes are amazing), Van Leeuwen has interesting but delicious ice cream flavors!

when you go to boston, make sure you stop by faneuil hall marketplace. there are so many great museum's as well in that area. swing by the north end in boston for a cannoli (there's a long standing battle for best cannoli; mike's pastry or modern pastry). think about going on a duck boat tour.
Since you're going to Massachusetts, you should know that Massachusetts is the state with the highest population of Brazilians. That means that you HAVE to stop by a Brazilian bakery or restaurant. Brazilian food is so comforting while being refreshing and healthy. If you go to a bakery, be sure to try coxinha (a large croquette with chicken, or cheese, or etc...) or pastel (a fried savory pastry), or kibe (an Arabic style croquette with ground beef). For desert, you should try brigadeiro (fudge balls), bolo de cenoura (carrot cake), and Guarana (soda). All Brazilian restaurants/buffets have the typical rice and beans with meat and vegetables. I am almost positive that you will enjoy Brazilian food, and Brazilians are so welcoming!

When you’re in Boston you NEED to get clam chowder - if you like seafood. It’s soo good! Make sure you get pizza in New York from little italy & you need to go to baked by Melissa for mini cupcakes and Magnolia Bakery as well! Also if you like burgers, you need to try Shake Shack !
I discovered Naked Harvest a few years ago because I was having trouble sleeping. I live in the US and it’s always so worth the shipping wait time from Australia!
Honestly, my fav thing to do when i travel is going to costco. You can return things at any location worldwide too, and its a cheap place to get souvenirs. Also the dollar stores (we have dollar tree) is a gem place to get that countries snacks! For acne try the super popular japanese Pair One cream! Also using the japanese Cure exfoliator totally got rid of a sun spot on my cheek

For liquids 3.5oz are allowed in carryons. There is no limit to the ounces in checked luggage. Carry an outfit and hygiene in your carryon because after the first hours you’re going to feel gross. It’s nice to land and be able to brush your teeth. Separate your money into different pockets/bags/areas and don’t use the airport currency exchange. Banks will give you a better rate. Remember our power is 120 so check your appliance before you come or switch the voltage over- also our outlets are different. Smart idea on the shoes. What I tend to pack a lot of is underwear because August is humid and gross. It sounds like you’re going to NY- in addition to pizza have a true NY bagel.

I don't get a lot of actual pimples but i do have very big pores and red irritated skin😢 and yeah I agree its good to see people not hiding their real skin.
Definitely check out the north end in boston!! There are so many good Italian restaurants and if you go, you have to get a cannoli from either mikes pastry or modern pastry it’s totally part of the tourist experience. A rainy day recommendation would be to checkout either the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum or the MFA. They are both amazing museums and the weather here can be unpredictable!! So excited for you to experience my home state❤️

Using ground turkey meat can be a good alternative to using ground beef. It's lighter in flavoring and yields less fat without missing what you need for your recipe. Using it in a bolognese sauce, turkey meatballs, or taco seasoning with ground turkey.
We don’t have a huge turkey market in Australia. You can find it at some supermarkets but chicken, beef, pork and lamb mince are much more common.

Visit Whole Foods, and Starbucks because the Starbucks in Aus are different. Also try visiting a naturopath to help balance your hormones - might help drastically with skin.
if you like chinese food, i highly recommend Panda Express! Dunkin’ is personally not my favorite chain, but I think it’s still fun to try the flavors

In Boston, there are SO MANY good fast casual restaurants and cafes on a strip and these are my faves: cava, dig, by Chloe, sweetgreen, parish cafe, tatte bakery. In NY, my fave spots for pizza ever are rubirosa & prince st. Have so much fun!!!

I just got back from New York! It was amazing! Very busy though and chaotic. If you go to dunkin get the watermelon kiwi with green tea! It's so good! Chik fila is really good and there are so many pizza places I just looked at the reviews. The tipping was very confusing 😕 in time Square make sure you hold onto your hags and don't have anything in your pockets there was a few pick pocketers
Running shoes and walking shoes are completely different and made for different purposes, make sure whatever shoes you bring have plenty of ankle support and cushioning!

24:00 this was the exact mindset i had when i went to NYC, i wanted to try everything i was so happy in the target, barnes and noble, traders joe bc i grew up watching it everywhere and we in the netherlands dont have that either ( my dad said its just a grocery store like no its not just a grocery store its traders joe 😂😂)

Here in the states we are allowed a quart size clear zip lock bag filled with liquids. You have to get bagels in New York City as well they are soooo good. Tim Hortons is better then dunkin in my opinion but people are other Dunkin or tim Hortons people 😂 and McDonalds breakfast is the best hands down for fast food breakfast ..Egg McMuffins and there biscuit sandwiches😁 I love your videos and follow all of you besties and love watching all the book reviews and content ❤

I recently got a Kindle and my first trip since is coming up in about 2 weeks to Seattle. I'm having major cognitive dissonance about not packing a physical book lol, even though the whole point of Kindle is having many books with you. Since you're going to NYC, I am going to say the most touristy thing ever but maybe Bubba Gump Shrimp or the Hard Rock Cafe? Really can't get more American than that, lol.
