This didn't look as an exhibition at all. This is a great preparation for Nadal. If he's able to play this aggressive in Australia, he's gonna have some chances.
@@giulianotestino8779 It's a myth that Rafa prefers a slow court. He has often said, "Yeah, well honestly the conditions here are much slower than what we played at the end of the season, so it's normal that -- I saw on TV that people had more chances on the return than usual because the courts are slow, something that people thinks because I had a lot of success on clay that it's better for me but it's not true, I normally play much better on fast surfaces than very slow surfaces." He made this comment in Perth 2020.
@@kathleenmellor1648 True! Now that I think, it's not necessarily the speed of the court, but more so the height of the bounce. He tends to play better in high bounce slow courts right? Like sunny clay court for example. I don't want to brag but I play near that stadium (there are clay courts), and from time to time played right there. The hard court was repaired for this exhibition, but if it's the same surface as before, it was reaaally high bounce. Clay court like :)
I'm usually used to the stupidity of some Djokovic fans, but when I see how stupid some Rafa fans are, it baffles me... The fact you rely on an exhibition tour for 2023 when it's so obvious he will never play an exho the same as an official match... This tour has nothing to do with next season, it's just an event!! What if some of you actually tried to disconnect a little bit from your stupid expectations every single season and just enjoyed this experience alongside him? It's too tough, isn't it? 🙃
Curious which category you fall into: stupid Djokovic fan or stupid Nadal fan? The only thing that comes through from your comment is the "stupid" part.
@@broncoguy4862 Maybe that's the only thing you understood from my comment... I'm a Nadal fan who simply learnt to enjoy him outside the tour as well, not obsessively and continuously thinking about which other tournaments he should still win to make me happy, that's all. 😌
Great match, these will be very helpful for Rafa, he needs matches 🔥

14:14 BOOM!!
Vamos, Rafa! Amazing as always!!
More than a exhibition.🤣 It looked like a ATP tour match. 2023 season gonna be 🔥.Vamos Rafa
definitely an exhibition, look at the match point :D
Lol if Rafa plays that aggressive next year he’ll do pretty well
Hopefully and most importantly without losing rhythm from injuries
Rafa is so much happier when he has the freedom of an outdoor surface, not caged up in an indoor court, look how well he plays
It was an indoor match, the stadium has a roof :) but it's a very slow court, maybe that's why he plays well
Then you need to watch again and you'll notice the roof 😁
@@giulianotestino8779 at the atp finals he simply didn’t have enough matches. Barely played. He needs matches certainly before Aussi ope

yes King Yess
VMos rafa
Revange they said ? 😂
Bendiciones para Casper y RAFA
Competitive more in the first than the second - if you are going by the scoreline! I'm actually surprised they played on hard courts.
La bella prepotencia de Nadal.¡
How many people were there ?
Big mistake for Rafa to do this. Destroyed his AO 23 campaign and his sunshine double campaign.
Ruud being paid as Nadal’s punching bag 😅
