Elegant Christmas Junk Journal Flip Through

This handmade junk journal is the perfect companion for the holiday season. The journal cover is made from a cracker box covered with an elegantly embossed deep red material. The material is a stunning red and black brocade suede. I did not create a permanent cover design, as the material is too beautiful to cover. However, I did create a hand-made Christmas tag with a vintage Santa image and tuck spot on the back that adorns the front under the ribbon. There is a deep red lace ribbon tie closure, which can be removed and replaced with anything the recipient desires.
The journal measures 6.25 X 4.75 inches with five signatures sewn into an invisible spine. The spine is reinforced with book binding tape and the same suede material as the cover. Each signature has 24 pages, for a total of 120. If you count both sides of each page, the journal has 180 pages front-and-back. The pages are a combination of coffee-dyed paper, both blank and grid, vintage book pages, magazine pages, and vintage music sheets. There are a few envelopes and parchment papers, as well.
