I don’t know if It was said and I missed it but another great gift for readers (or anyone else) is a cozy blanket/throw, it’s so nice especially now that the weather has changed to sit down with a book a hot tea/chocolate and a throw blanket definitely keeps u warm and comfortable for the hours of reading ahead. Hope everyone has great reads to come for the rest of the year.

I love my neck light when I read my books. I didn’t want to mess with clippings the light to the book, so I bought a neck light.
The 12 days of Christmas actually don’t start until Christmas Day! It’s the 12 days starting on Christmas through January 5th (the Christmas celebrations go through then to lead up to Epiphany on 1/6). So the 12 books is still a perfect idea even to give on Christmas Day!
Although it is a very fun idea if able to pull it together & gift someone in the advent season too!!

at 10:40 when you were talking about the book nooks, people often make these from kits that include all the pieces and easy to follow instructions. I recently bought one from amazon and its a fairy cottage. It's a really nice and calming activity to busy myself with! they typically take a very long time to complete but it's not necessarily complicated and anyone can do it if they have spare time.
Definitely agree on the fantasy SJM changed my life.

A few things I thought of are a neck light, strapsicle for kindle (size up if you have a clear case), a blanket or blanket hoodie, comfy lounge wear, blue light glasses (if you’re reading on your phone or iPad).

Hey des, love your videos! Do you recommend a certain order in reading Lauren Asher’s series? I want to start reading her work but I don’t know what series to start with. Especially since the first book in her new series just came out.
Love the ideas and I have more ideas now, thanks. I have to say though that YA is a demographic not a genre. Both Skyward and The Naturals are both YA series but Skyward is in the sci-fi genre and The Naturals is in the crime/thriller genre. 😊
