Before I went to Forest this year I watched so many videos from people talking about how Sherwood Forest helped them heal as a person or made an impact on their soul and I thought they were being dramatic or romanticizing it.
They were not. Electric Forest is the most mystical, mind blowing, and freeing experience I've ever had in my life. This festival truly has impacted me in a way I could not have anticipated. What an absolute dream. The vibes, the art, the food, the music, the characters, the staff.. Everything. I LOVED Electric Forest and I am counting down the days til next year. I never want to miss a year again. ✌🏼❤✨
It's just EDM and the woods right? What's so special? The drugs? I am planning on going and I can't really figure out what this is exactly that makes it stand out to people so much.
@@ramehkhazen2223 It's the freedom of expression, the sense of community, the mystical feel of the lights and characters of the forest, the music, the worry free atmosphere, the escape from real world responsibilities and pressures.
That's amazing and good for you. It's a shame it's so expensive though. The corporate nature goes against the vibe imo but what else is new lol.

We’re all so fortunate to have the opportunity to come here and let go. After 5 years of going I can truly say it’s changed my life in every way possible. I fell in love with my woman, fell in love with my friends. Ultimately the greatest lesson I’ve learned here is to love myself. A whole new world was unlocked to me upon leaving the forest. It fills me with enough love to last the rest of the year. I cannot stress to anyone who has not been, please go. Magic is real. It’s here.

I’ve been trying to rekindle a connection myself with the special lady from Louisiana working the good times camping spot when I rolled in solo on Thursday night. I talked you into ditching your shift and we hung out til the LSDREAM set and we were separated for whatever reason. I regret that and hope you see this so I can talk with you again. I’m crossing my fingers that the same forces in the universe working that night work their magic again. Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully talk to you soon… ~~ Solo Josh that didn’t want to put up a tent.. lol!

I grew up in rothbury and it was the worst hearing the loud booming music trying to sleep for so long, happened every year til we moved

Nope, just have to score one from the resale site they have on their website, or get lucky enough to meet someone selling theirs. Beware of scammers, just be careful when buying. Get from a trusted source. Unfortunately their resale site is way higher cost than the original sales, but it'll be a trusted source. Hope you can make it, may the forest be with you. 🙏🏼

How so? Share your experience. I'm going. Never been to a festival. What should I expect? I am renting an RV and going.
@@ramehkhazen2223 well you choosing quite possibly the best festival to experience your first fest at. This will be my 6th year. Doing RV will be a pretty solid camp. The RV section is also the loudest area in the camp area. They have RVs setup with mini stages for late night to early morning DJ sets. You can experience artists from the lineup even coming out to the RVs to play sets. They will play till the sun comes up in the RV section. So plan on no sleep hahaha. We do group camping for 5 years now. Our group name is Tab Lab.

Most definitely, the festival experience, location, production is absolutely stunning. In my eyes, no festival compares to this place. Sherwood forest really comes to life at night when all the lights, artists and production start up. Also one of the biggest lineups they have ever had.
