- Isn't it a major bummer when rain stops the RC fun! One Focke-Wulf 190A flight cut short by an unexpected rain shower... I had to abort the flight and run back to the hangar to keep the aircraft and Tx dry, but the flight itself was very enjoyable.
Well flown under damp conditions ☔️

Was that the Flyzone Select Scale FW-190? Haven't seen a video of that in quite some time. I still have mine, I pull it out with my old Parkzone FW-190 occasionally while my friends fly around in their Thunderbolts and Mustangs. Great fun! Thanks for a throwback video
Hi chap! I'm pretty sure that Flyzone are ST Model in the UK market, so I'd say we have the same model that came in a different box. I adore flying it as it's so light and as a consequence, a delight to fly. Mine flies on a 3S 1800 that's designed to sit upright in the nose.
Rain is worse than wind. I think 😂

Nice flying with your FW 190. Sorry it decided to rain on your parade. Looked like one of those bastard bunny holes snatched hold of your plane on landing. Grrrrrrr !
Thanks JR! I am inclined to believe you're correct, Sir. As it happened, I thought one of the gear legs collapsed, but both were in the down position... just dangling upwards.
Rain Stops Play - We have all had that......Yuck -- nice flight until the rain, mind you a spray with WD40 would sort it out -- Kidding - note to anyone reading this message - do not spray your aircraft with WD40 !!! Run Gina Run....
