Testing the YT Capra vs YT Jeffsy back to back in Maydena. Thinking of racing the Jeffsy at the enduro world cups this year, so put it to the test against my Capra race bike from last year.

Gonna sound like a right kook here but I previously owned a 2020 Jeff carbon pro. I raced a year of local enduros and strava times , and couldn’t get on with it. Too linear and lacking grip. So I think Capra is the way to go , and that’s from a south east UK kook to I must be right 😂. Keep doin that sheit gary

Kryptotal front on the front and rear of the bike is pretty sick, might be worth trying if you’re looking for a little more rolling speed

Hey Jack, what's up with the dropper mate, looks like you could run something about 80mm longer drop wise - keep hassling SRAM for something. Appreciate the testing and for you racing it's all about what will give you the edge to win, but curious, if you had to pick between the Capra and Jeffsy as your only and fun bike, which one would you pick?
Can't wait to see these new forks, amazing what technology has come to that you can run a pair, i.e. 2 forks on one bike 😛
A trek or a cube?? For the german. And for the Canadian mtb...maybe a cannondale? Or another Norco Range? Or somehow you got the proto norco downhill bike?

you can add an angleset and use a 170 fork, it would have the same geo with 64
and vivid on the back
Is tweedy valley on the map this season? Jeff’s could be good there. And maybe derby depending on the tracks, But once it’s steep and deep capprachino all the way.

it's going to be noticeably slower and less efficient which is the opposite of what he's trying to achieve... smaller back wheel doesn't make the bike more pumpable
*My take away for the average rider*
We are probably better suited to the Jeffsy and enjoy a snapper more efficient ride as we are going half the speed of Jack.

Enduro bike needs to be very fast, strong, confident and forgiving like Capra. Jeffsy is trail bike is fast enough for most average riders and better climber 🧗, but not for a pro enduro champion. Fast 💨 kiwi 🥝 Chaz maz enduro races on the stumpy Evo instead of enduro but evo has lots of adjustments!
