JUDAS PRIEST IS THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD AND NO QUESTION ON THAT!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT SONG AND THIS SONG IS THE FATHER OF ROCK HARD RIGHT FREE!!! BOTH SONGS ARE PERFECT!!! THE REAL JUDAS PRIEST FANS HAVE TO LIKE ALL PRIEST WORK AND PAY RESPECT FOR THEAR AMAZING WORK WHICH START 1969!!! AND AFTER 50 YEARS THEY STIL ROCKING!!! THEY DESERVE EVERY MUSIC AWARDS!!!
It"s from "Screaming For Vengeance" session, but it was not included in the track listing. It was re-aranged later and served as an early recording for 'Rock Hard, Ride Free'.
I would love to hear a version of this song that has the best of Rock Hard Ride Free and Fight for your life. RHRF is best overall in my opinion, but this song definitely has some oneups. Like at 1:07 after the line "looking fate in the face" that mini riff. Also the intro riff is awesome. I freaking love those and they're not in the other version.
The sound of Heavy Metal! Today´s all same-ish mainstream productions, all from the assembly line no matter if Death Metal or Heavy Metal, with their triggered drums and hyped plastic sound, are WEAK against this. Fuck modern Metal sound, THIS is it!
You don't know OVERKILL! Of course Priest is the best ever, but OVERKILL has kept the 80's sound and style alive, (save for a bit of vocal antics) for approaching 50 years. And ACCEPT has done a good amount of awesome work as well. Imajine Priest covering the song "Zombie Apocalypse". It's like it was written for Priest. IMHO
@@Therandomwolfguy Compared with ac dc this song is even very complicated:-) The song is good. Like almost the all production of the greatest heavy metal band ever
Weren’t they going to put this on Screaming for Vengeance, but later added it as a bonus to this album? Then even later they turned it into Rock Hard Ride Free in Defenders
Just think... the original version (this one) actually skipped three entire albums before it was redone a bit for Defenders. It missed British Steel, Point of Entry, and SFV....
Is this that extra track on the remastered? I only own old killing machine vinyl. First time hearing this. Rock hard, ride free one of my top 5 priest songs ever. Now? I'm not so sure any more...
good stuff, but the chorus and the solo the way it was released in Defenders as Rock Hard Ride Free is way better - Rock Hard Ride Free it's maybe my favorite song of the 80's by Priest (so many to choose, it's hard to pinpoint just one).
It's good to see how much this track evolved to reach its perfection on 'Rock Hard, Ride Free'.
Rock Hard Ride Free
Rock Hard !!! Ride Free !!! all your life.
"Rock hard, ride free"
Wow sooo glad they revamped this into Rock Hard Ride Free!! Def demo version...
Reasons why producers get paid, their final version is just impeccable, this simply needed that work.
Get a grip on the action
I'm moving heaven and earth
Don't let go of the action
Push for all that you're worth
I wish they would re-write this song on their next album.
They already did.....on Defenders Of The Faith
@@brokenteethalbumreviews5388 you ever heard of something called a joke?
Funny enough, Invincible Shield does have a track called "Fight For Your Life".
came from jummah salah and had this notification.
Love judas priest from Bangladesh ♥️🇧🇩
Same here bruh ❤

Awesome track, I can't believe I have never heart it before!! 😎

Money cannot buy happiness A priest just praying Judas Priest Is playing some heavy rock and roll
An extremely high level
One of my favorite Priest songs.
I was so confused hearing this for the first time today
Rob Halford rocks I will never forget first time I saw a fight live in concert in Westport Missouri
The band when they wrote another song: *Write that down, write that down*
Forgot how good this track was 🤘🤘
Yes I have a tattoo of Judas priest around my neck and Judas priest is my favorite best Rock band forever
Priest can really groove as well as shred when they need to.
Love clear Rob voice in this version
Fight for your money!
Hell yeah
Kickass
Brilliant track 🤘😎🤘💥
One badass band bloody Awesome 😎
Yes

je l'écoutais ce matin en voiture, cet album est tellement rock !
Its like the 80s still Judas priest is still fuckin kicking ass.
JUDAS PRIEST 2021 !!
Nice🤘

I was listening to Judas Priest and then saw this song.
Time to dance.
I think Rock Hard Ride Free is better, one of my favorite Priest songs. Not sure about this one.
Sounds very similar. But yeah. I prefer that too
Both songs have got the same roots
Yeah... this was more plotting and the lyrics were on a different edge... still good and true to **JP**!!!
@@Therandomwolfguy Compared with ac dc this song is even very complicated:-)
The song is good. Like almost the all production of the greatest heavy metal band ever
1978>1984
The one and only,
METAL GODS
😷👍
A quiet one but awesome of course.
Rock hard ride free with alternate lyrics
i love the guitars and his voice bettet on this but still the version on defenders is betta
🤟🤟🤟
I like this version better perhaps because it is more raw and less produced; my kinda metal mayhem!
👍👍👍👍👍
🤙🤘🤘🤘
First priest album I heard back in 1979 and a fan ever since.stained class a better album pre British steel though.
Better as Rock Hard Ride Free on Defenders
Weren’t they going to put this on Screaming for Vengeance, but later added it as a bonus to this album? Then even later they turned it into Rock Hard Ride Free in Defenders
Yes, they left it off Screaming For Vengeance. If they didn’t, it probably may have been on their tour setlist.
Just think... the original version (this one) actually skipped three entire albums before it was redone a bit for Defenders.
It missed British Steel, Point of Entry, and SFV....

STEELER from British Steel.💥👍
"ahh - HAEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" !

I've listened to Priest- forever and somehow never heard this. WTH. Rock hard is definitely a go-to song for me
@@michaelstone7896 same here never heard this before
Me either
Yea it's kinda way too hard to pick a favourite priest song
It's SOOOO similar to Rock Hard Ride free 🧐
Plus, the new album (Invincible Shield) has a song with the same title 🧐🧐
🤟🤟💪💪👍🎸🐺🌝
This song should've used in the ending credits of Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire
1978>1984
Rock hard ride free??
Wrong ..."Fight for your freedom"
"Money can't buy you love!"
I listened to rock hard ride free so many times that this sounds so painfull to listen
lol i tought that was rock hard ride free
They have a new song with a same name.
Contortion
I wonder why they would fuck with the original. Not so bad, but, everybody knows.
This is how Rock Hard Ride Free came out. I like this one, but the solo is weak.
Not heavy enough Priest. Go back to blood red sky, green malishi, sentinel, painkiller stuff.
disgraceful
Dislike 80s priest..girlie vocals..weak guitars tone, weak drums, weak bass...weak band..imo.. PRIEST NOW IS TOTALLY AWESOME , GUITAR TONES, BASS DRUMS N VOCALS STRONG POWERFUL SOUNDS!!
This album was released in 1978
No way are Halfords vocals better in 2020 than they were at this point in Priest's carreer
The evolution of a bona-fide 80s defining classic.!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
