Yes, I experienced this as an sra survivor..my father a pedo who lived in a small town knew pedo police, a judge & a man who eventually became mayor. They were masons..I reported the rape at age 40 as it took a couple decades of therapy to get to all the memory repression. The report based on who my father knew was deleted, but I got a copy before they got to it. My abuse started in the crib & the trafficking started at 3.5. At 5.5 my father sold me into the mkultra gov. program. I have the electrocution scars on my upper left arm. Ur never really the same person again. I'm almost 60 now, I was raised poor however, I attained a b.a. degree. I lost everything career relationships, finances due to the symptomology of did i.e. PTSD, depression, insomnia...my daily life has been dominated by health problems. I have to integrate but, I just am rebuilding my spiritual connection with Christ. I consider most of my human life a loss. I would like to offer hope yet, I still struggle living with societies worst kept secrets.
