    doesn't the player's agent represent the player in arbitration?

      Joe Padar most of the time, yes. but the player is obviously still there hearing everything they have to say so it’s basically the same effect

    This is a great video, assume that the arbitration process can last several meetings if player and club agree to disagree?

    Wait, so they really just make a verbal case to a judge? That’s it? I thought it was more technical like than that...

      Not a judge. A mediator. And the mediator isn't even baseball savvy, just experts in mediation and negotiating. It's sad
