These remind me so much of my favorites from the very early 2000s: MAC Lame and Sequin! I love seeing them on you because we are skin twins. I think Lancôme Coquette has been around for awhile too. The metallic finishes really do add subtle fullness to the lips. I have two Pat McGrath blitz trance shades that I need to pull out to try again. Emmanuel le which is a peachy coral and the other is a red❤Thanks for the reminder
I need to pull them out into my everyday makeup routine and layer them.
Hi Katie, I love this video because I love lipsticks with a little bit of pearl in them and I always have. Especially think they are kinder to more mature thinning lips. Do you have any tips on lip liner and lipstick for us women in our 50s and above, whose lips are Disappearing not only in pigment but thickness?
Do not sleep on the metallic Revlon Shimmer and pearl finish lipsticks from the drugstore either! “Softsilver rose” “Wine with everything” etc are FIRE. I’m SO happy to see you back on YT Katie!! I've been loving "Thanks It's MAC" lately and also "Can You Tell" Lustreglass lipsticks. They're kinda shimmery too and they're gorgeous. Also Clinque Chubby Stick in Bountiful Blush has a slightly metallic finish too.

I live a slight shimmer in a lipstick. Since mattes are so popular they are hard to find.
They are IN right now....Lancome coquette like she demonstrated is so pretty ...Revlon and Rimmel I believe has frost shimmers and maybe wet n wild and hard candy and for sure there's Milani Pink Frost a fav of mine ! I think there's a Maybelline liquid lip called Moon for a topper and it may be shimmery frosty . What Lippies do you like that are frosty I'm always looking too 😍🥰
Your skin is amazing !! And the glowy foundation or primer what exactly is it I want to try so bad...I have dry skin and is looks like itay be good I have so much problems with foundations and skin tints . This was a great video I adore shimmer and pearl frost !

Ok, I see why you're loving a metallic lip, but as a kid who was born in the mid 70s, and clearly remembers all of the 80s, I'm not sure I'm able to wear one.
It makes me think of all the mean girls at school who wore a metallic pink lip, or the ladies at church with big shoulder pads and metallic lips. It's just too much for me. 😂

Lol I wore Yardley frosted pearl white lipstick in the late 60s and 70s and I was super shy nice not mean at all lol. It was my fav lipstick of ALL TIME I want it back to use as a topper.🥰❤️❤️
@@amygalvin1799 I grew up in So Cal. The girls were really mean at my school in the 80s. Maybe it was my school. 🤷♀️ This look takes me back. It's like a time machine. It makes be crave draped blush, colorful eyeshadow, and blouses with neck bows. 🤣
@@linreid1272 I remember my mom had a white frosted pearl lipstick from her college years. (In the late 60s, early 70s) The tube was a beautiful gold with filagree on the cap. I never remember her using it, but she would let me twist it up and look at it.
