Shortbread recipe
500g/17.6oz softened butter
250g icing (confectioners) sugar
450g plain flour
100g cornflour (cornstarch)
2tsp vanilla extract

I so enjoy your recipe videos in addition to your art videos. In this cookie recipe I use clear vanilla extract instead of the color vanilla. The clear keeps the dough very white. Love the idea of adding jam. I've never done that before and look forward to trying it!

Yummm, I love short break cookies. I will have to try these. I used to make a nice shortbreak cookie dough, press my thumb in the center and fill with jam, then drizzle a thinned vanilla icing on them

I live in Latvia. Subscribed to you. I enjoy watching your video tutorials. They helped me a lot in teaching creativity. Thank you very much for this. I know your cookie recipe. This cookie is called Kurabye. Your cookie recipe is similar to my recipe, but I also add egg white and beat again with a mass of butter and sugar. To prevent the jam from spreading in the oven, you need to make a hole in the dough with your finger and add the jam there. Thank you .

Yours are so pretty. I made some of these this Christmas. My daughter in law makes them with pecans and they are amazing. If you are worried they might spread stick them in the fridge or freezer to let them get cold.
Those look insanely good. I've got a similar recipe I make during holidays. Spritz cookie. Takes an egg and almond extract. I'm definitely going to try these.

I baked these cookies today. It is very difficult to bake cookies when my husband is there. We always argue about the dough. He would like to eat all the dough raw. I'm not a fan of cookies but these are fantastic 😍. Thank you Julie for the recipe

If the little plastic ends of the piping guns pop off again, you can score some tiny grooves on the metal bar to give the glue something more to bite into. It might not last forever, but it may last longer with a texture to hold.

In my area of the USA the batter is something you can pour where the dough has to be rolled or spooned (or piped 🥰).
Well that did my head in. I was thinking why aren’t you using resin to hold the baking paper down? Then I remembered this is food. No one use resin!
It was fun to watch. I have to imagine they taste great, I am diabetic. Every now and then I would like to eat a biscuit. Might try these next time some of the kids visit otherwise my husband would eat them all.
We cook a lot of Japanese and authentic Chinese food at our house. It is diabetic and weight friendly but it tastes so good you feel bad for eating it. ❤️

I'm wondering, can you shrink the tripod down to the shortest it'll go, clean the footies, and put it up on the counter so it's opposite you but looking down at your work space? OR maybe get table top tripod, they're usually for instances like this. (Extra cost for such few videos of the type I know, but if you plan on doing more like it, it might be worth it.)
Will thos work with gluten and dairy free options?
