I think Tebow saw this as a great marketing opportunity too. But someone must've promised him he'd get a good shot at the starting job. Tebow always said he wanted to be a starting qb and the jets had backed sanchez since they drafted to this point. So it didn't make sense on either part. But it made more sense than the jaguars.
