I will always adore KH1's scene, it feels so much more impactful with the lack of music, like this time the dialogue's taken center stage and we realize what's important here.

Yeah! I love the fact that Goofy and Donald jump in despite the King's orders because they know that Sora's willing to risk everything for his friends. It genuinely super sweet.
I just realized , sora is the way he is because of the way ventus is, since he was resting in his heart, ventus originally said my friends are my power, back when sora was still just a little kid 🤯

now that i've watched Bio-Roxas video about the psychology of Sora It is true that Sora always say "my friends are my power" and never like Ventus that says "My friends are my powers and i'm theirs" it's very interesting video about how Sora really feels and the difference between Sora and Ventus
To me,the best Friendship speech is the original one. Without music,you can center in what is important,the character development of Sora. It's no longer another sissy scene but the Awakening of Sora's true strength. His realization,just like in a Persona game when the protagonist evolves their Personas,to put an example easy to understand. And one can clearly see that because that the moment the Keyblade choose him forever,forcing Riku to understand his own flaws in order to receive another key.
i never noticed how much soras words dug into xigbar.
"If they think of me now and then, if they don't forget me" hits harder knowing that canonically, not long after this, a lot of people close to him DO forget Sora, including arguably the people closest to him back home.

Man is kinda sad that they use the phrase like a one liner in the final battle against Xehanort in KH3. Every other time it's always use when a couple of character are talking, but in KH3 everybody is silent and Sora only says it because yes. Not conversation all.
Yeah. The reason it wasn't on here was because I totally forgot it was in Kh3 untill like 2 weeks after uploading haha. Maybe I'll make a separate video on just that part. But yeah it kinda felt out of place in Kh3 when he just kinda said it without a cool speech.
