- Join us on our beach bar crawl on the island paradise of Clearwater Beach Florida. On this beach bar crawl, we take in some of the best views that Clearwater Beach Florida has to offer while enjoying some delicious cocktails.
We get the beach bar crawl started early at Shephards Beach Resort, where we arrive in time to beat the crowds at the popularTiki Beach bar. We enjoy our first drinks of the day while taking in the view of Clearwater Pass.
Our next stop is just a short walk away to Jimmy's Fish House and Iguana Bar, where we enjoy a couple more drinks and more amazing views from Clearwater's largest deck. We also try Jimmy's famous Iguana Bread.
Stop #3 takes us to the Sandbar, where we enjoyed possibly the best views and drinks of the day from the beachfront tiki bar at the Opal Sands Resort.
After a brief walk down the beach to experience the spring break crowds, we stopped in at the Barefoot Beachhouse to cool off with a delicious frozen toffee coffee drink before moving on to beach bar #4, Tommy's Tiki.
Tommy's Tiki is located right on the beach behind the Hilton Hotel. Tommy's Tiki was the only bar on the beach bar crawl where we could sip our cocktails with our feet in the sand, providing a unique and enjoyable experience.
We wrap up our beach bar crawl at the Palm Pavilion, our fifth and final beach bar of the day. We take in some more amazing gulf views and cocktails from their large beachfront patio. We also couldn't resist ordering some gator bites.
While our beach bar crawl had ended, our day on Clearwater Beach was far from over. After stopping in for a couple more drinks at Hogan's Beach, we grabbed dinner at Coco's Crush before capping off the day with an amazing sunset from a pirate ship!

We stopped by Jimmy's Iguana Bar one evening and the musician playing was awesome and the appetizers we ordered were top notch.

We had a great time on the Captain Nemo Pirate Cruise...we don't have any kids but it was very fun watching the crew and the kids interacting and having a great time...the scenery is beautiful and we even saw some dolphins out there.
Oh yeah you definitely don't need to have kids to have fun on the pirate cruise!

The bloody mary at Jimmy's looks really good...and even better that it has fresh tomato juice and that crazy looking shrimp skewer. The iguana pretzel looked almost too cute to eat. I would love to have a drink with my toes in the sand. Good thing you were able to find some space away from the spring break crowd. The pirate ship sunset cruise looks like so much fun, what a way to end the day with a gorgeous sunset and abundant 90s throwback beer!
Funny how drinks always seem to taste a little bit better with you feet in the sand, or on a pirate ship after a LONG day of drinking đ

Absolutely loved the music you paired this video to. The floating tiki hut is definitely my vibe, how awesome and unique? The view at Jimmy's deck was so awesome, thats one thing we struggle with here in South Africa, is to have beach bars on the beach or with a sea view. That iguana shaped pretzel was so cool. Cant believe how busy the Clearwater beach was, I would love to experience. spring break one day in USA. I absolutely loved the Tiki Bar by the Hilton Hotel becuase there is nothing better than your feet in the sand while sipping on a cold one. You guys literally live in the best place on earch, wow you have so much at your fingertips. Hope we ca come beach bar hoping with you guys soon.
We're glad you enjoyed the music. We feel like we are running out of songs and the free sites we use aren't coming out with new ones fast enough. We're probably going to have to break down and pay for epidemic sound like everyone else! Yeah, Clearwater Beach was so busy. We'd much rather visit a beach that is packed with penguins (like you guys) than people, but we still managed to have a good time even with all the people!
Clearwater Beach is STUNNINGG!!!!! I love the Drinks that are only 7.75 That is definitely within budget! So cool you guys could make a crawl out of it! I really like Jimmy's, love the deck being right by the water and those drinks looked fantastic. What and epic skewer on the bloody mary! Mai tai looks good too. Also the iguana pastry is a nice touch

I agree 100% on the bloody marys down here. While I do like the Florida twist with the shrimp, they just aren't the same without cheese and a meat stick like they do it in the midwest!

Yes thankfully the bloody marrys were packed with nutrients because we kind of forgot to eat anything else for the majority of the day! I guess starting drinking at 10:00 AM can do that to youđ
This was a lot of fun. So many fun bars on our little island. Our second home is walking distance from Shephards. Cool pretzel. JImmy's is fun at sunset because they have a little countdown, complimentary shot, etc. Yep, the sand bar is pricey but worth the view. Love the deck at Hogans. Great sunset. đ#57

I'm loving your beach bar crawl videos, they give me such fun holiday vibes! I have never before heard of a floating tiki hut đ Those bloody mary's at Jimmy's were serious business! đ I've only been to Clearwater beach once but it looked so crowded compared to when I was there... those spring break crowds I guess?!
They are a lot of fun to make, but we may be getting a little to old to drink like that anymore! I guess there's a reason we only make one of those videos every several monthsđ. Yeah, Clearwater Beach does often get busy, but that's the busiest we've seen it. Spring break definitely factored into it.

I know, we so need to rent that tiki hut one of these weekends, although I'm not sure how good of a video we could make just floating and drinking on a tiki hut for a few hours. Could get pretty interesting, I guess. đ
My family and I live in Topeka, KS (very close to KC), we are heading to Clearwater/St Pete area for a few days in Aug, so overwhelmed with the different options. I definitely appreciate your videos.
We know exactly where Topeka is. Jamie grew up in NE Kansas, and we both lived in the KC metro (KCM, Mission, Olathe, Overland Park) for over 7 years. Oh a bar crawl is right up my alley. That tropicolada looked really tasty. The iguana bar has so much seating and shade too which my hubby would love. The Bloody Mary looked pretty epic. The drinks at Coco's are very good...we stopped at the new location in the old Cooters location last time down. The service left us very disappointed but we plan on stopping by the Indian Rock Beach location on our next trip as I've read some great reviews from that location. And being that our newest pup is named Coco I really want to have a good impression from the place
Oh yes we love Coco's drinks. The fresh squeezed orange juice is so good! We've only been there a couple times, but both times we were one of only a few people there and the service was good.

We've never actually tired, but we're pretty sure that you can, Johnny.
Those bars are going to be packed on the 4th, Johnny. We'd recommend trying to show up right as the are opening! And yeah, gator is pretty good and does taste like chicken!
There is a "Earn the Shirt" type of Beach Crawl called "Conquer the Cocktail Challenge" that has you going to several associated bars on Clearwater beach area. frenchysonline.com/cocktail-challenge/ and there is even a webcam from the beach (that is where we stood, waited 30 seconds for the camera to display the webcam on the iphone, and then did a screen capture of us on the beach. Fun for the entire family (those that are over 21 years of age, and can handle the heart), and the 3 of us received our Tank Top (son and I) and Tee shift (my wife).
No idea why this comment just now showed up in our comments feed after four months, but thanks nonetheless! This is the first we've heard of this, but it sounds like a blast. Definitely something we will look into next time we have a group of friends in town!

I'm determined to find a place here with bars along the beach...I'm not sure I have ever seen any, especially with our tides taking the samd and replacing it... you would never see the tables again...lol
Yes, the beaches are great for swimming, but the water is quite cold yet this time of year (at least for us Floridians). Many of the vacationers who come down from colder climates will get in the water in the winter months, but it usually takes until late April for it to warm up enough for us!
The gator bites are made from actual alligator. They are not hard to find around here. Good luck on your Australia Beach Bar search. I thought I had seen pictures of some cool ones on the Gold Coast before. How far is that from you?
@@Explorcation I wonder how different eating gater is to eating crocodile... that just tasted like fish to me đ.
Gold Coast is not far from me at all but don't know of any down there. Tide changes can be a bit extreme and you will sometimes wake up to half the beach gone. Comes back eventually but not the sort place for chairs and tables to stay ....we have plenty that overlook the beach
@@AquariusTraveller ahh see. Sounds like the tide changes are much more extreme there. Gator generally just tastes like a chewier chicken. When prepared well it is quite good, but most that we've had is average at best.

Hi Keith. We've never actually stayed there so unfortunately we can't comment on the cleanliness of the rooms. We do know that it's an amazing place to watch sunset and live music though!

Not sure about night clubs, but we know that Marina Cantina does live music up on their rooftop. We caught a latin band up there one evening, and they were great.

It is illegal in the public areas. But several hotels and restaurants have designated areas of the beach where hotel guests/customers can drink.
And it doesn't cost $30 every five minutes like in South Beach ...

I must go to Tiki beach. I have a whole house in a Tiki Theme. I only made it to bar number three before I made my own rum drink to enjoy while I watched this video. Both of those Tiki bars could hire me to help them with their Tiki themes. I wasn't expecting a pirate cruise. Nice surprise.

So amazing to hear that you mixed yourself a drink to help fully immerse yourself in the beach bar crawl experienceđ . The pirate cruise was actually a surprise for us as well. Definitely not in our plans when we mapped out the day, but it ended up being a blast!
