Quite interesting, and I much prefer the new way to outline countries! Don't have many complaints with the scenario, though I do feel like the French would've struggled harder with entering Germany. Though I doubt this would change much.
It would. Due to population changes France was laughably outmatched by that time against Germany. Even with Prussia on its own its industry and fighting age population would by the new Great War be significantly larger than France. And France would never fix the systemic issues that lead its army to massively underperform in 1871

Edit: it would be cool to see what would happen if the Bolsheviks never came to power in Russia or if they rose to power later in Russia or another country

I don't really see anything changing if the Soviets don't come to power in Russia as I see it possible that a far right regime will take power sooner or later which would essentially be the same thing as the USSR

Thanks a lot! I have this tendency to improve anything people tell me to improve and do that as quickly as possible, so I tried my hardest to improve the quality as much as I can while not needing to push pack the schedule too far
As for a video centered on Greece, I have planned on that and should be coming out in few vids!

@@justagreekhistorian I disagree. A lot of African countries saw Ethiopia as the symbol of freedom and adopted it's flag colors onto theirs. If Italy won, that reputation would be ruined. Also Italians wouldn't be seen as a militarily incompetent nations. And it MIGHT possibly get all the lands demanded during the first world war. Which wouldn't leave them hostile to other allied nations.
Just my two cents though.

Video idea: What if Franz Ferdinand accepted the Frankfurt Constitution?
It would funnily enough probably lead to German unification under Prussia. At the time Prussia was challenging Frankfurt with the Erfurt Treaty, an alternative to the Frankfurt lead German empire lead by Prussia with a less liberal constitution. The minor states even joined up initially to be protected from pro democratic revolutions. Prussia only backed down when Austria and Russia opposed it. With Austria, prussias and russias ebemy/rival accepting it, Russia would probably throw its full weight behind Erfurt, turning it into an earlier brothers war. That one could either only involve Prussia and Austria with Russia threatening to join on Prussia’s side if anyone else intervenes or Russia joining fully on Prussia’s side. Either way , Austria needed hundreds of thousands of Russian troops to survive the Hungarian revolution that happened during this time. With Russia hostile to them and Prussia actively fighting them I don’t see AH surviving.

Lovely video, but I think you underestimate Russian-Habsburg rivalry and overestimate the German armies in the Great War if Germany was not unified. I see Italy, France, Russia vs. Germanies, Austria-Hungary, and UK. Here, a lot depends on the political will of the combatant powers during an actual Great War. The British have a material advantage, but their side has dozens of negotiating powers vs. two emperors and a nation-state. I still see the UK winning, but in a fascinating slodge.
I actually think he’s right with that. Prussia at the time of the Great War was still two thirds of the German population and even without unification because of its much larger degree of industrialization could spare more of its people then the southern states. The imperial German army also needed to compromise with the states and didn’t get the funding that it would have gotten relative to the total budget if it remained Prussia (however the funding would still be lower just because your adding about 25% of the industry).
Yeah I am still not sure about Austria's neutrality but either way, I expect Britain to win regardless really
The Germans performed very well in our timeline and the added strength of Italy and Britain will only make them stronger, albeit that the German army is much more disunited than in our timeline

I see an alternative scenario that could have happened, in which Austria-Hungary could have joined that World War, in order to reclaim its good relations with the Bavarian states (or just take over the land forcefully) to oppose Prussia. Of course, this is a very uneducated guess, as I don't know this part of history all that well.
What if Austria and the Ottoman empire collapsed in 1900
What if Austria Hungary didn't annex Bosnia from the ottomans and Serbia and Montenegro gained the territory instead
