- SNORLAX has the awesome "BLOCK" ability which prevents your opponent from retreating their active pokemon. You don't need to knock out anything with this build, you just wait, trap your opponent, until they run out of cards. With new cards from the Temporal Forces expansion set to disrupt your opponent's strategy, you're almost always guaranteed to WIN.
(This build was designed for 2024 STANDARD format Regulation Cards "F" through "TEF" Expansion)

First opponent could've won that game easily if they had any idea how to play against stallax.
Second opponent also had no idea to play against Snorlax. Immediately committing both their psychic energies is unreal.

Having play control in magic the gathering. I love control it's hardly to build and play..it's a real challenge..and since control in Pokemon is rare.

Say what you will against this deck, but if your tight on a budget its one of the best decks out there other than ancient box.
I fought against this deck recently. Only reason I won, he exceeded the 20min time limit lol. I've never lost against a snorlax deck lol

This seems like you just lose if you don't know what is about to happen to you. Its basically killing your resources while you are trying to still set up. I love it... *insert evil laugh*
I hate this deck and it makes me throw up.
I'm in arceus league now and the deck I plays perfectly counters it and I'll make sure to always play that deck so if I encounter any snorlaxx stall they auto lose
The MINIOR from Paradox Rift is a pretty good counter to Snorlax. I'm curios as to what you're using...

The sparce easily discards itself from the active, the tinkatonk can shred mimikyu and have the non-ex one for draw. Snorlax can't stall anything there. Unless they play Giacomo but then again play rosenne's backup

This is my first time trying it out for myself. I've had my fair share of facing off against this type of build and it's not fun. 😅
