BOOKS ARE MY BAG is a nationwide campaign to celebrate bookshops. This collaboration between publishers, bookshops and authors is the biggest ever promotion of bookshops. For many people bookshops conjure fond images of book readings, in-store cafes and delight at the discovery of a new author. And in fact, 56% of all book buying decisions are made by consumers in a bookshop - but we must continue to celebrate - and shop in! - our fabulous high street bookshops (both chains and independents) to ensure they are not under threat.

A wonderful and interesting video. I have been buying my books from Blackwell Books for well over fifty years - amounting to hundreds of books, from when I was an Oxford undergrad. Even though I am now retired far, far away, I am happily still able to order the books I an interested in, from Blackwell`s - they make it easy and pretty well trouble free :)
