  • Four years ago, Dr James Martin developed a bold new vision for innovative and integrated research to find practical solutions to big problems, giving US$100 million to establish the 21st Century School. Now he challenges other individuals, foundations and corporations to share in that vision by making financial commitments that will accelerate the achievement of the 21st Century Schools ambitious aims.
Dr Martin has pledged US$50 million to match new donations to the School made between 12 March 2009 and 12 March 2010. The 21st Century School Challenge offers an unparalleled opportunity to create new and exciting projects that will broaden and deepen the work already begun by the School and its Institutes. It brings great potential for energising research across a broad range of disciplines in Oxford.
