Insight: The Dudek Hike & Cruise with Wojtek Domański

The Dudek Hike & Cruise is a new concept, which aims to do several things. The obvious weird-looking thing is that there are a lot fewer panels on the bottom surface than the top surface. So while the top surface has 65 panels, the bottom surface only has 21. With an aspect ratio of 5.6 it is designed for thermalling and flying XC. We spoke to company owner Wojtek Domański about the concept and what the benefits are.

Great innovation! Bravo Dudek for trying new stuff in the market where 90% of companies are doing only copy-paste of other products 🙂 The weight is amazing, I bet that the volume in the backpack also.
I would like to try this Cruise during the real bivouac adventure. The size 19 suits me perfect with all equipment, but the projected surface seams to be extremely small (in comparison to other gliders of this AR). Can't wait to see and try it!
