Another fun vid, thanks! I love a mix of standard and high security locks on channels, it's a lot less intimidating as a new picker and informative too
Thanks -- that was my plan. If you look at my earlier videos, I focused on unusual, higher security stuff. But almost all of the questions I got were about locks like this... so I decided to start mixing them in.
Another padlock you could add to your laminated lock series would be the yale y125/50 padlock. I'm curious to see how it would stack up against the Stanley and Lockwood. Its been $15 and $20 depending where you get it.
I'd love to see links to the pick sets you have, I'm getting by with a 9 pick GOSO set, but it's giving me some difficulty with a couple locks that should be really easy to open
Crap should've sent you my Lock-it that would've gotten worst. I bought it for around $8 at Home Depot got home put my tension in and it opened looked inside, no pins. On the Do-it they had 2 at this mom and pop hardware store and the other one the last 2 pins were all the way up so you'd still only be picking first 2 pins. Glad I could show it the opposite way by key pins being too long.
Hey LPL you can probably open it, just by inserting a BOK wrench and lift those two pins. Still do not understand why any company would bother making such a cheap lock. The material and manufacturing cost out weigh the security of the lock itself.
Dude I have a 50mm aq and have had it for a year now. I CANNOT PICK THIS GD THING!!! I’ve so many times almost just cut it open. I’m going to try for a little while longer but I’d I can’t get it by this weekend, it’s going to the grinder. It’s a 5 pin and seems there’s a pin way in the back that needs depressed like the end of the key or something.
+Evan Chan I've seen a whole bunch of bad ones... Hard to select a king in China's dogfight for the bottom... But that golden lotus from video 193 is definitely a contender.

It still amazes me when I see a lock fail so hard. Thanks again for the heads up.
I'm with you. I know that I shouldn't be surprised anymore, but somehow I still can't wrap my mind around how some products can be so bad!
Haha, the challenge is to make a 3min video with only 2 active pin stacks. Well done on that challenge ;-)
OK, I laughed really hard at that.

+Jess Hull somehow I managed. It was tough.
Lol that bitting was terrible. That was insanely quick.thanks for the review brother!
Just DO IT. Don't let your naughty bucket be a naughty bucket. Just pick the lock! DOOOOOOO IT
LOL, you would need a forklift to pick up my naughty bucket!
+LockPickingLawyer I'd need a crane

Do-it is the house brand of Do-it Best hardware stores. Some of their stuff is OK, this padlock not so much! lol
I didn't know that. Thanks. Do they have any good locks?
not that I've ever seen...lol
This was before he started using the phrase "it wasn't a fluke"!

+Randy Perkins Thanks again. It was at least nice to show the key pins being too long.
Thank you. Saves me buying one to to try. But interesting never the less. I wonder if we have these locks here in Australia?
If not, you must have some made in the same Chinese factory!
And..... that is supposed to be a padlock :D
Did you try to scare it open?
LOL. I'll try showing it your logo. That should scare it open!
I’m still trying to pick my p6
What is that first lock called ? ON THE TOP LEFT

+pbsing probably a combination of not knowing and not caring.
More like do it work, the answer is a resounding NO😂😂😂🔓
Thanks for showing and glad we don't have such rubbish locks this side of the pond (😉😉😂😂😂😂😂)
Surely you must have some crap locks?
+LockPickingLawyer too many to mention ( really too many 😂😂😂)
Is it illegal to buy a lock picking set and carry it in your car ????
