hi. this video is gaining attention so i would like like to say that i am in no way supporting j43.
this video was two years ago and i was completely unaware of his real attitude. i thought he was nice but i was duped, just like everybody else. again, i do not support him.

Man, he messed up. one word wont define everything about him okay... He is not a bad person, his views are problematic. You dont have to stop supporting him. You can support an idol without supporting all of his actions. Make that distinction. peace :)
Edit: people are debating here so let me clear some points
1. We all have prejudices, concious or subconscious. We all start off as offensive people and then learn why it's wrong to say something and never do that again. It's a life long process. Again, mistakes don't define you, it's what you do after making them.
2. You can support someone without agreeing with all of their point of views. You will never find someone who is 100% perfect and match every one of your morals. For example, I do love my grandpa. He is sweet, considerate, responsible, moral and self diciplined. Do I agree with his right wing ideologies? No. Do I think some of his point of views are problematic and regressive? Yes. Instead of cutting him off from my life, i talk him through the things which are not progressive. Sometimes I convince him, sometimes I can't. But I understand that he has his own pace of learning. You get me? It's called tolerance. It's same with jae for me. Being a woman, i was hurt once I saw whole clip. But after thinking it through i realised that his views needs to be changed but in noway it means that he is a threat to society and should be banished from social media for life.
2. Seperating art from artist is something we should learn i think including me). Especially with k-pop. We tend to invest too much into a celebrity life just because the content is out there. While analysing every little expression on their face, we forget that the main basis of the relationship is about art.
3. Jae is 30. He is an adult. So is Jamie. Jamie is a strong independent woman who is self made. Se responded well for the situation and made her stand clear. Was jae being an a**hole? Yes. Should they mend their friendship or break it apart? Not our place to say. So remember if Jamie decides to forgive this in future and decides that this friendship is worth saving, then i hope you guys respect that too. Don't force your opinion on others.
4. Remember, age is not an indication of maturity as well. I have seen 18 year olds talking like 80 and 50 year olds failing to understand small things about life. So don't assume that someone knows everything just because they are 30.
4. Again? Am I defending him with his behaviour? No. Do I think he needs to change? Yes. But do I think this incedence define everything about him? Absolutely f*cking no. I don't have enough evidence that this guy deserves to be threatened with his livelihood, that doesn't sit well with me.
5. I don't think it's okay to label someone as racist, sexist, misogynistic, abelist or any thing else. It takes away any goodness in them and now they are somehow only bad. See no one can be completely racist. Some of the views can be racist and some of the views may not be as well. The ratios may differ but you cannot deny that there is atleast one non racist view they may be holding. Labeling denies anything good in someone and their right for redemption. People are not just black and white in this world, that's not how it works.
6. Do you want to unstan him? Go ahead. Its none of my business and in no way I can control what you do. But you don't have right to take someone's life away from them. I see people on twitter saying that there are only 4 people in band now. Discrediting someone's 10 years of hard work and taking everything they worked so far feels cruel to me. You have right to not follow someone, i respect that. But you don't have right to take a decade of hardwork away from someone. His time in Day6 belongs to him, leave it alone. Discrediting his work is cruel and makes you no better.
