Whenever adults say that to other adults, I just get the immediate impression that they have no idea how to have actual conversations, they lack people skills and can't discuss or debate things, and so they just resort to a statement ingrained in their brains by their parents and teachers and other authority figures they had growing up.

So it goes way, way beyond the founders wanting a moral populace. The founders understood that Christianity and Christian values underpinned everything they were doing.

City "leaders" like this weakling are so quick to subvert our rights and privileges based on one or two complaints, yet we can register our complaints by the thousands and yet we're never afforded the same action. It's interesting how this is always a one-way street where all consideration is afforded to liberals but never in favor of Conservatives. There's a bunch of us that don't want the US to falter like this. And we all need to stand united against the oppressors, and fight back. And sure it's impossible to fight back against the government itself, but I say if they don't have any voters left then they can't abuse their powers. I ain't inciting violence, but it seems to me that if you want anything done these days you need it. It's as they say, peace is never an option.
