Great walk and great video. Very special to see the unseen Test.
Lovely and looking forward to further instalments. Surprised to hear a chiffchaff so early in the year.
Yes, we will have to make a film about all the birds Donny hears. Please do spread the word about our channel - lots more to come in 2024!
Loved this!! Can't wait for next week!
Yay! Thank you!
The spot at Polhampton where you felt like you were "getting emotional" was where Major Oliver Kite sadly expired in June 1968.
That’s quite amazing, I never realised that. His pal, Frank Sawyer, was a hero of mine and I would have loved to have met the pair of them on a riverbank somewhere!

I fished at Polhampton in 2022 (courtesy of the WTT auction). I met the mother of the beat owner who remembered exactly where Kite was found after his final, fatal heart attack.
You can see Kite fishing Polhampton, his 'Rolls Royce water', in the video clip I've attached. Apparently just days before he passed away there.
Thank you so much. I have watched as many of his videos as I can find - he was an amazing countryman and a fantastic broadcaster. As I said, I would have loved to have met him. Thanks for the info. Donny.@@Krokodil415
