You know, when Eren mentioned how ending EVERYONE on the opposite side was the only way to establish peace since the survivors would carry the hate of the fallen and repeat the cycle of hatred it reminded me of Pain from Naruto and how true that was. The only way to create long lasting peace is to either somehow force everyone into the same mindset or completely wipe out the opposite side so no one else comes back for revenge/justice. (It's really messed up but unless we have Infinite Tskynomi we can't make everyone get along while letting them keep their ideals like Madara planned, which is actually pretty effective when I think about it.)

Eren wouldn’t say that abt mikasa he literally stated in the manga that he would’ve stopped the plan entirely if mikasa confessed when he asked what is he to her and if she responded correctly he would’ve lived the rest of his life with her
