I do not condone Minor x adult relationships in anyway shape or form, however it was common for those to occur in that Timeline and once again she was not a minor when they started dating.
But the characters didnât know that because Violet was made out to look very young in the anime as they used to refer to her as âdollâ, thatâs why I kept their disgusted expression!
I'd like to add something, I know their not all from the same time period. But during ww2(voilets time period), it was legal for someone of the age of 14 to marry, and if any, Eren was born before that. So he would have a positive output to it. (Because she looks young, and at the time he was in, it was also legal)

This was so good! and I was honestly expecting Ashs reaction cause it might remind him of his past even tho hers is slightly different and the major did care about her well-being. I think the reason why people aren't AS bothered by the ending with the two getting together is knowing both the time period they live in and also because the Major left to allow her to grow on her own as he refused to give any chance that she was only complying and didn't truly understand the meaning. It helps that by the time she found him again and they got together she was 18 and technically an adult but she now also fully understood what love meant. it could be consentual. so while the age gap is..wooo, boy. Pretty Iffy and most modern people like you showed, would feel like he is somehow using her or manipulating her as it showed he knew her as a kid, I want to believe the major would leave if he felt like Violet truly didn't return his feelings, like he did before, he knew she couldn't grow if she was just obeying orders and that meant she couldn't grow while under him. That is what makes it slightly feel better for me and also I am just so happy for Violet, out of everyone she deserves to be happy and cared for but the reaction was a nice touch. it gave the characters more personality as not all of them were bothered for varying reasons like eren coming from a similar time and Junko being Junko. probably enjoying how bothered it made the other people besides eren and Violet who was super happy that the major was alive.

Nah that movie was great but the end of it never existed okay. Throughout the entire anime I always thought it was a father-daughter relationship sob. I mean dude taught her how to read, write, talk, and provided her shelter. Thatâs a father figure PLEASE. Honestly Violet x Isabella is better.
