Yep. Played well in OT. Def blew it in first period w that softervthan charmin goal. 3rd period choke as well. Smh. Ut ullmark should have started unlesd he was hurt. Every goal counts kid. Next year if...if we even make playoffs maybe you can stop one xtra goal that we woukd have needed. I feel your pain but the season was a failure, just like this series. Lets not sugar coat this loss, own it, chew on it and get better and tell the damn #1 Defense in NHL they Choked badly. Next year young man.
@@davidselawsky6620 Ullmark was clearly rattled in game 6 so I’d have to disagree that he should have started tonight. Swayman made some pretty incredible saves tonight despite the defence not being on their A game. I’d say Swayman was the right choice even if it took a period to knock the rust off. Hopefully next season will be better
Florida fan here, Swayman was doing the lords work out there tonight. Boston defense just wasn’t there to give him a hand, he doesn’t deserve the shit he’s getting for this. Great guy
Exactly! I thought he was going to get destroyed but performed amazing! Panthers literally clawed apart the bruins in OT. Swayman was just a victim of the bruins giving the panthers those opportunities. Hellebuyck looked so bad against the knights but it was the jets who failed him.
100 percent, Boston D did not play well. Cant hang this loss on Sway.

You’re 100% correct. The defense as a whole was off the entire series - nothing like the accomplished team they were all season. Neither Sway nor ullmark or any other goalie should be expected to be a one-man defense. How many time can the defense pass to Florida’s forwards before a hole is found?
He bailed them out so many times. The rest of the team owed him too.

You had an remarkable season Jeremy. It's extremely difficult coming into a game 7 like this having not played for a while. I can't even imaging the pressure you were under. Despite the loss, you still had a fantastic game and came up with some key saves. You can't be expected to do it all.

He played so well tonight and it’s so sad to see him like this.this was probably his last game as a Bruin, we can’t pay him #1 goalie money and if another team is willing to pay him that, I would judge him for wanting to take it. That game could’ve ended sooner on Tkachuk’s breakaway but he blocked it, absolutely incredible work this kid has done. We really should have played him sooner, ullmark was tired and not playing 100%, we should have rested him

Ullmark’s not that young and the B’s would get tons of money for Ullmark if we put him out on the market. Sway’s just getting into his prime and has had almost three years so learn under Tuuka and Ullmark’s instruction. He’s ready for the jump to be #1 in my view.
@@BeefCake1012 depends on where swayman signs. He’s a free agent now, he recently talked about how much he loves Boston but we’ll have to see what he ends up doing. Honestly makes me really nervous. Even if he doesn’t stay with us, I’d honestly root for him anywhere he goes, he’s got such a bright future.

Definitely should have put Sway in for game 5 instead of getting cute with the lines. Ully was hurt or sick.. He got up slow too many times and had dark circles under his eyes. Maybe the "new voice" is one that just says "sure!!" when a player begs to be in against better judgment. This as we watch the "old voice" coach an injury riddled team through to the second round.
Thanks for recognizing the situation correctly. Been saying the same since game 1 of the series. Ullmark was injured towards the end of the season and you could see it in his eyes while he played 6 games in this round. He was also barely getting up from some of the plays. I don't know how no one on the Bruins team was able to see this. Unreal.

The lines that we had for the last month of the regular season should have remained for this series. I truly believe switching up the lines and playing an injured Ullmark caused this upset
Or atleast sway for game 1/2 so he had a feel for play offs hockey... Not dump him in on a must win game without playing for 2 weeks nearly
Why’d y’all switch up the lines lol.. I watched couple regular season games I’ve never seen a team that connected before it’s why you set the regular season record, and then watching this series you guys could barely string a pass together hard to believe.

@@JD-cg2qb WE didn’t switch up the lines, Jim Montgomery did. A lot of bruins fans were having aneurisms hearing the lineup before each game because it was way different from regular season which proved to be successful. Montgomery screwed with the chemistry
So unfair for this kid to be put in this position.... Cameras should have left him alone. Jeremy Swayman was incredible during this game and made unbelievable saves to keep Boston in it! He has a bright future this one.

I’m a panthers fan, dude was a dog all night…not his fault whatsoever. He’s got such a bright future. Can’t help but think we wouldn’t be hear if he has another start or two. But so hard to not keep running your vezina goalie.

@@HopeIsForbiddenHereUllmark was likely still injured from that last Montreal game of the regular season. I was crossing my fingers that the coaches would trust Swayman enough to put him in in games 5 and 6 but alas, we made the same mistake as we did in 20/21.
He can’t be too hard on himself for this. Imo he has top 10 real skill at his position and had the best goalie game out of all of them this series
This isn’t on Sway, he made some fantastic stops to keep us in the game. He was hung out to dry by our defence who couldn’t clear the puck from our own zone.

Heart wrenching. I’ve been watching everyone of these guys since their draft days. To think Bergy and Krecji and other rentals and FA’s won’t be here next year boggles my mind. This one hurts the most not because of the loss in the series (tho that hurt) but the losses we haven’t even dealt with yet.
That is the saddest part. This was the season for them to get there again, and these core guys I've grown to love will be gone.
Worst part is idk if he returns next season. But if he doesn’t, he will be a regular starter with a nicer contract.
I hope he stays. He’s the future for the team’s goaltending.

I've been a goalie since I was 12 years old. I can't even imagine the pressure he faced to step in and play game 7. Before the playoffs started, I predicted on another YT channel that the Bruins would choke but didn't think it would be this quick.
The formula of 2 goalies earned the best regular season of all time. This formula was immediately abandoned in the postseason. Sway should’ve been in there game 3. He saved their asses so many times tonight. Unreal.
Winning Presidents Trophy should be a bigger deal.
The joke of a coach let him and the entire team down. The Goalie rotation was a huge reason for the success of the season, and Montgomery shit all over that.

Shutting down Tkachuk on a breakaway in OT, I concluded in that moment no matter what happened, Swayman wasn't to blame.
They let Bergeron down this series, Montgomery definitely takes some blame on this loss. That "hand pass" will forever be haunting.

I blame the head coach the most for this loss! He played Ullmark while he was injured and sick way too much. He literally ran him into the ground. He could and should have easily let Sway step in for Ullmark in Game 5. He also shuffled the lines way too much! There were new line combinations in every game. That's stupid!

Sway is top shelf. He is great. Same goes for L.U. I could NOT believe Sway didn't start Game5. He and L.U. are best "together" in tandem.

Changing lines then asking why we didn't start on time, telling everyone to trust the process and then putting an inexperienced goalie into the most important game of the year and when asked by the press why did you play Swayman his answer was you'll have to ask goalie Bob that....dude you are the coach

It's tough for the guy to be fronted with the responsibility to save a team imploding. The media surrounding the players after a loss are utterly cold and deserve 0 respect. Most of them rend to ask repetitive and redundant questions,which reveals their lack of preparedness in forming relevant questions for postgame player interviews.
