@Mamba Productions™ damn, you are first comment. I’ll get it next time.
I think the Allen Iverson photo with an Afro he was thinking of was the Slam Magazine with him on the cover

I have been wanting part 2 for so long because I was a fan of part 1 I also have a Mandela effect moment: Lebron staring 👇 MJ in game 3 of the 2014 playoffs between Charlotte VS Miami
Bro you think anyone cares weather you believe them or not on what they saw.
When you said bro wasn’t even on the court, I lost it 🤣🤣
😂😂😂
💀
Chalmers must have been confusing it for the lob that ended Jason Terry.... lol
@@victorhernandez999 i just saw a different angle of that vid yesterday and was like wait?????? Oh 🧐
Bruh 😂🤣😂🤣
The thing about that lebron and dwade play is that there is a play when dwade threw it off the backboard and lebron dunked it. But that is not where the famous picture came from. I think a lot of people just assumed that it was.
I was saying that shit to myself Bc I thought that was the play where he threw it off the backboard unless we both remember something that “didn’t happen”
I coulda sworn that alley oop he’s talking about he runs right, on Miami’s home court. Maybe I’m wrong
Instead of him running left in the video*
A ton of em bro , we'd gotten so used to seeing it off the backboard that we just assumed it was one of those moments
Yup
They had so many dope plays like that together in Miami that it makes it seem like that 1 had to be an oop too
That 1st season alone they had 4-6 sick alley oop plays between them
So Dope
The crazy part about the chair is that it actually stole the ball and dunked on Yi.
bro lol
Funny as shit, but I do remember seeing the chair footage on sportscenter
It was drafted too. I forgot by whom. I saw it at the end of a team's bench recently. Lol
This made me laugh
Right!? Geez the government definitely lyin to us!

Paul Pierce's shot over Al Harrington in the 2003 Playoffs. I have always thought that it was a last-second game-winning basket. Turns out it was just the end of the 3rd quarter.

I could've swore the Kings beat the Lakers in the WCF to go to the Finals but than I realized commissioner Stern ordered the code red against the Kings and the refs did the rest! Smh 🤦♂️🙄
Until this Day That King Team still think they were cheated.. Chris Webber was asked the question how he felt losing to the Los Angeles Lakers and he tried to find the words to say knowing David Stern would destroy him so he said the typical answers *"We just didn't play good enough"* David Stern put a hit out on The Sacramento Kings..

I remember the luca shot because everyone was criticizing Paul George for being called a good defender but not picking up luca on that final play
youre getting that confused with the shot made by Lilard
Nuh he was on him majority of the game Kwahi took him in 4th but Luka was hunting Reggie Jackson that whole second half it got so bad they took him out but had to put him back in cause the offense went stale from PG position.
Mandela effect was not in play for Luka's game winner. I saw the game live and I specifically remember being frustrated that Kawhi or Paul George didnt guard him on that shot. I remember thinking "why the hell does doc rivers keep putting reggie on him". I'm pretty sure Stephen A Smith also complained about that in his show.
Doc was our coach in the bubble btw. That's why Reggie was put on Luka.
@@sugarlv6434 yeah my mistake
Reggie wasn't on Luka, Kawhi was but just ran away from Luka instead of fight the screen. He wanted no part in a potential game winner on his face
Kwahi was on Luka in the 4th but Luka was hunting Reggie Jackson, every time Kwahi stayed and it was two on Luka it was a wide open 3, so they was switching everything .
@@PlayaFly2k i get that but in a situation like that you dont get reggie jackson to guard a potential game winning shot lol. Kawhi or PG13 shouldve been guarding Luka on that possession, period.
The goat had spoken!! Great work as always, Keep them rolling.
i remember that game miami @ milwaukee, i think there were a couple of similar plays dwade to lebron fast breaks and that's why everyone thinks that this iconic photo is an alley oop because that oop was crazier than the play from this photo, but it was actually a play after or before it. that team had like 10 fast break dunks every game 😂
As for the 96 draft class picture without Iverson, they all look photoshopped together anyway. I could definitely see someone taking that picture and photoshopping Iverson in from one of his SLAM photo shoots with the Afro and chain and it would look like he’s really there
Exactly... He had the ball behind his head and the inside of the cover had a full photo of AI with him palmming tbe ball in front of himself

Nice vid! I remember why Allen Iverson wasn’t in that pic. Few stories behind it 1. He never showed up, 2. He was never told. But AI addressed not being in the photo

Just saw the footage of Luka Dončić this morning. Was not even a question for me that it was someone else then Paul George defending. Guess I confused that play with Devin Booker game winner. Big up for the video!

Wow, my comment was featured in this video… that’s so cool. Cosgrove is definitely one of the top NBA channels out here
I have that Slam mag. I wasn't surprise AI wasn't on the cover. Live 97 left Jordan off the game around that time. Most NBA stars had a big head in the 90s
Jordan wasn't officially in any NBA live games til NBA Live 2000
When he said that he thought Luka got the game winner in the bubble on paul George but in reality it was Jackson, it wasn’t really a Mandela effect. He got it mixed up with devin bookers game winner in the same spot on PG13.
Exactly
yeah his videos are starting to slack now in quality.

I'm a Mandela effect sufferer at the more extreme level. The world map has changed drastically to me. The continents are not where they were my whole life growing up. History is different, I used to study history in depth and much has changed from it. Locations of towns and cities in my state have moved. I live in Arizona and the grand canyon is much smaller now, my family lives close to it and it always stretched most the way across the state. It's legit like I'm living in a parallel universe. Celebrities that died while I was a teenager are suddenly still alive. It's the craziest thing I ever experienced in my life. The map has changed on me drastically 2 times now and changes in smaller ways fairly often. Things will change, then change back, then change again. I've become convinced we all have "twins" living in a multitude of parallel universes and we are somehow shifting consciousness with them through quantum entanglement. If you watch the video of the guy who makes the d-wave quantum computers explaining how they work to potential investors, he straight up says they found parallel universes and are exploiting them to power quantum computers. But the media and many tech magazines are leaving that part out when telling the general public about quantum computers. They tell you the difference between quantum and regular computers is that a quantum computer can be a 1 and a 0 at the same time in it's coding, without mentioning that it is only possible if it is existing in 2 universes simultaneously.
you're an unhinged schizo the Mandela effect isnt real
I somehow believe you
Mind blown
Wow just the map changed on you twice lol. Did you study maps or history two different things. Mandela effect has nothing to do with parallel universes which there is no evidence of
@@zombieface9401 History changes with the maps. Along with many other things.
One myth that irks me is Scottie Pippen guarding Magic In the 1991 finals. Did it happen? Yes. But only for a short time. Jordan eventually switches back onto Magic and defended him for the majority of the series.
Wait what. I envisioned they lost cuz magic was tired af getting guarded 90 ft
yeah that's done to denigrate MJ or boost Pippen.
Welp I am not surprised... People on the LBJ is GOAT train keep telling lies to put him above Jordan and make Pippen seem like he just flat out carried MJ
@@gunotlucio go watch any of the 5 games (some are on CZcams). Jordan switched onto Vlade Divac and it actually hurt the defense because Divac was too good for that. I believe the story came from one of those championship Chicago bulls DVDs/tapes. They mention Pippen switching into Magic. They didn’t really go into detail though. Then from there, the story grew into a great exaggeration.
That’s crazy! I remember when Pippen got switched over to Magic and it was a key to turning around the series. In the series Pippen drove Magic crazy because of Pippens ability to guard him the full length of the court. I remember Jordan guarded him the first game, but Pippen did a better job guarding Magic and it freed up Jordan to focus on other parts of his game. That’s a crazy one!
The legend is back
You deserve 1 million subscribers!!!
Reggie Jackson is my favorite player, I remember when Luka hit the game winner on him at the time.
Maybe partly due to that SLAM cover, I always remember AI playing in the 95-96 season! I "remember" him playing against MJ and MJ is wearing the Concords XIs. I think this is due to another 76ers rookie (Stackhouse) playing against MJ that season and mind getting confused. But yea, I keep remembering Iverson as a rookie in the 95-96 season, not 96-97.
Ahhh I love this channel
Dude, you are great how is that possible to make an NBA story like a horror tales😭😂🔥
If I was a kid that intro would of scared me out of basketball 😂
🤣🤣🤣‼️
Crazy part is that. The chair was playing back,
And he lost so they deleted the footage
I remembered the chair blocking Yi.
“Block by chair! Lechair with the rejection”
noti gang lets go cosgrove i love ur vids sooo much❤🔥
Man you sir are the goat! The best NBA detective CZcamsr out there! Appreciate every video and all your efforts you put into your content man!
Great job as usual Cosgrove! Love the channel. Hear are some Mandela effects Ive had over the years:
Kobe’s last game was against the Timberwolves not the Jazz. I specifically remember him hitting a late shot over Zach Levine.
Michael Jordan’s comeback was during the ‘95 offseason (October ‘95) not in March. Additionally regarding the playoff loss to the Magic - I always remember it as Jordan wasn’t back yet.
I’m a Mavs fan and I think I would have also said Lukas game winner was on Paul George not Reggie Jackson.
Dwyane Wade jersey number being 5 in NBA Live 2004 was an error. Turns out he wore 5 in summer league before switching to 3
Watching the 1997 All star game, I heard them introduced Karl Malone standing on the court in a line of players. They specifically called him The Mailman” (that’s the first time I remember hearing that nickname) and he got booed really loudly. He just stood there started smiling and waving. I was a kid and remember that sticking out like wow people really hate Karl Malone lol. I haven’t been able to find any specific footage of this. Maybe it was a different game or something because the court was bright not dark like usual player intros.
Nah kobes last game was against the jazz
Kobe's last game was against the jazz, I watched that game and MJ only played 17 games in the 1994-95 season he came back in March against the pacers... just Google it
Yeah guys I know 😂 I’m saying these are false memories I had at one time before realizing I was wrong lol
I'm ngl u stated zero Mandela affects
@@gikgik4254 read comment above. False memories I personally had I obviously can’t speak for everyone else.
The intro is scarier than most scary movies.
Best NBA content on CZcams.
Brooo!! That intro and background sound always gets me 😨👍✨
The amount of effort that goes into these videos are insane, congrats to Cosgrove🙏
Honestly his old videos were way better. I think he ran out of material because the last bunch of videos have not been all that great. The first portion of this video is about a chair in practice. Who hasnt practiced with a chair or obstacles before. He definitely needs to take a break and come with some real conspiracies or something more thought provoking than a chair practice and a alley op or pass.
I watched the luka game and remembered that it was reggie jackson that he scored on
I love this Channel
Plus I played street ball a lot. It's easy to confuse a play with a certain moment but some moments you can never forget but who all was there and so on gets scrambled up in memory with any situation
I have a few mandella effects I'm trying to figure out currently, sometimes I'll go walking n take a certain route to go somewhere, but many times I would see a tree or stream I swear don't remember existing.
Damn cornbread
nah the Luka one hit me I literally remember Paul George guarding him 🤯

This video was awesome 😂
The 🐐 of making us entertained!
There's one thing i remember seeing in the NFL but i cant find anything about it. It was a Ravens game and Ed Reed intercepted a ball and rolled on an opposing playing. He never got called for a down and ended up running it for a touchdown.
I remeber that play too!!!
You always know its gonna be a bomb video when Cosgrove puts content out 🤘
The 🐐 uploaded
Dawg U got me scared Shiva me Timbas wit that intro 😭😭
We do have the same bro... I thought PG is the one guarding Luka at that time... Then I realized that it was Devin Booker Game winner.. when the time Paul George is Guarding...
Thats crazy I remember wade throwing the ball off the back board then throwing his arms out like that
I love your videos
Best basketball related content in the world. Interesting!
Only moment I ever mistook was in one of those Finals with the Heat Spurs, that LeBron won. I always remember Bosh fouling Ginobili on a desperation three point attempt at the buzzer that wasn't called, but when I go look for it, that never happened lol
It was Danny green
The wade to lebron play I remember it like yesterday being a ally oop not a bounce pass. With the Mandela effects I always say the same thing we need to figure out who and why it's happening not just what has been changed. People who attribute it to bad memory or some collective confabulation to lie about a certain event don't really understand what's happening here and eventually it will hit them.
I remember that play being a bounce pass for years now. You’re probably thinking of an oop that wade threw off the backboard in another play that similarly has him going to the left of the basket after a fast break. I think a lot of people assume the picture was just from a different play which could have been why Chalmers remembers getting a steal
Bro it ain't that deep. Your memory just sucks sometimes.
@@ibn1989 then by your deduction countless billions also have bad memories? I doubt it if this was a situation that was local or among a close knit group if friends of just a neighborhood or a city or a state or heck even just one country then your proposition would be accurate. But this not a local thing when countless billions across the world have expirienced the same thing. The confabulation arguement dies in the water when the mass experiencing the same thing is greater than just a minority. Also me personally I tend to remember passed events way better than recent daily ones.
@@thebigomn2907 Think it's more of the fact that people don't fact check stuff for real anymore. They hear something from there friend and instead of checking it they take it at face value and then speard it around like it's the truth. Mandela effects work better when it's old stuff that can't be reliable looked up. Its always something from your past that you vaguely remember and you tell other people and they tell other people then boom
I followed the heatles for those 4 years watching almost every single game, i remembered as a bounce pass, not an alley oop but people understandably remember as an ally oop because almost all fast breaks between the two ended up with such play.
You need to expand to beyond NBA Videos. Your content is amazing.

Dwyane Wade's name is such a Mandela Effect. I always remembered it being Dwayne Wade, but then I figured it out randomly a few years ago.
I just realized it last month
Yeah many ppl including myself thought it was spelled that way (the correct way) but his mamma apparently wanted something different I guess or they just screwed it up on his birth certificate and stayed with it lol
Yea it’s always been Dwyane I remember it vividly because I notice how it was spelled differently from the normal Dwayne
The DWade and LBJ play, something similar happened where Rio did steal the ball, and Wade threw LBJ a oop and turned away. Most mix up these plays.
Brandon Jennings rookie year 55-point game. I could have swore it was his debut. Come to find out the game was like his 8th game as a rookie or something lol
I love you, man.

His intro is absolutely SCARY

Thank you for your time Cosgrove
Hah wow never in a million years would I imagine someone make a vid about the Yi Jianlian workout...bravo....I was about 16 at the time and I remember there was a lot of buzz about it and I could've sworn I saw the video too
I remember watching the Dwade lebron alley oop live when I was younger i used to watch every game on tnt or wherever they played before bed/while in bed. I remember Mario Chalmers getting a passing lane tip steal then immediately passing it to Dwade and then the oop. I know for a fact because Kansas is our college town in KC and Mario when to KU. I remember the clutch ass shot that won then the championship for KU from Mario as well. What the fuck is goin on? And yes A.I. was dead ass in the front middle of that picture 🖼️.
I can’t think of any NBA Mandela effects other than the ones you’ve already mentioned, but I do remember a Mandela effect where people have claimed to have spotted Herobrine (a myth/glitch in Minecraft) in their Minecraft world.
I remember that wade and lebron play too. I remember my brother going crazy over it. And it was one of the first NBA games I've ever watched all the way through. It's so strange.
Wait..... Kobe didnt swap jersey holy moly that blew my mind
Yeah I thought it was Paul George too
DWade and LeBron had so many different spectacular highlight plays’ that it was easy to get the one in the photo mixed up with the other ones
Yoo pls make another video on this it’s so good
Its crazy that Yi Jianlian lost to a chair
that chair had a lot of potential, but overlooked by a lot of scouts at the time
If your a ball player then the D-Wade ordeal should be easily proven to be a pass cause if he had ooped LBJ he wouldn’t of had time to really be that far ahead of him and have his arms fully spread like that in the thick of competition. Seems like it would have to be a pass. This one seems like an easy debunk most remember it that way cause that’s what they heard rather than saw, and chalmers straight up lied
Wtf are u talm bout? I remember. It was an alley oop
@@treecosmos386 you watched the game and remember the oop like legit remember?
Cosgrove back at it again with a another dope content
Yay you brought the theme back
You're not remembering the Luka shot over George. It's a fact that every game winner over the last 20 years has been hit against Pandemic P.. Every Single One of them.. :)~
The thought of someone regurgitating a corny nickname from a corny TV personality to make an irrational comment is quite...... Corny!
the first one is just disrespect for the fact of making fun of it. im from italy, and everybody that ever played basketball had trained with a chair for dribbling ( im sure that this happens not only in italy). thats just normal, idk why that was a big deal
Practicing with a chair is normal everywhere when doing it alone. But, when you have the option to have an actual person to defend you instead of a chair (Like it was mentioned that Yi had many witnesses). It’s very laughable for that to be his pre-draft film.
Yea chairs can be used in practice but in pre-draft workouts you are supposed to show off your skill and a meter tall chair isn’t really gonna contest you
Ive been hooping since 95 that is NOT normal hahahahaha
@@arizonaFIREent chairs can be used like cones but they are more like a defender and you can't just walk over or kick them
Cosgrove should do a video on JR Smith!
He had a ton of weird stuff go down during his career and he was posing like Wade all season long when he was with Lebron in Cleveland
