What a testimony!! This is going to save lives! The hard, gut wrenching, real truth! I’m a nurse at a recovery center and this is so raw and worth sharing!! I’m a huge advocate of Sublocade!! I always tell my patients, Your windshield is bigger than your rear view mirror for a reason! Thank you for sharing!

I want to hug your neck SO BAD! From someone who has put on that face through addiction... I could tell. Not by your looks, but by your words. I've said those words to convince others and convince myself. My soul is so blessed listening to this video. You are so loved. I am beyond grateful for this video. It has humbled and strengthened me. And I know exactly who I am sending this video to. Thank you for being a voice and vulnerable. If more people did this, what a difference it would make. I love ya both. God is good. Keep going brother. I believe Christ one day hug you and say well done my son. This addiction will be defeated. Over. Done. Defeated. Victory in Jesus. Come as you are. The battle has been won. I love y'all both so much

This. I was here one week ago. The depths our own minds can take us to can be suffocating.
But I am still here, one week later, and boy what a difference a day can make…

And I agree , viewer count on YT is below who actually watches 👀 You both have so much to say, and people are listening and may be embarrassed to say " I am on the same path ". You're NEVER alone !

I am really proud of you guys, proud to call you my family. Proud to know you both. Progress isn't a straight line. Life is more than this, more than the ache -- You are made of the universe! You are a piece of this insanely complicated puzzle, experiencing life, experiencing this world. This life isn't a test that can be failed or an oath that can be broken, you are not machines. You will get better again, and again, and again, and again. You'll get worse. But you can get better again. Just know that I'm always here rooting for you guys. I love you both dearly, in all your fruitful and broken forms, in all your completeness. Vulnerability, honesty, accountability -- These are just stones on the path to something much greater, I know it. One day, this will all be far behind you. Love you guys.

Don't worry about views, they may or may not be accurate from you tube.
Keep sharing-do whatever it takes to
stay alive. I watched my son's journey of addiction for 20 years. It was hard to watch, but he taught me a lot about life and I gained a lot of wisdom from him. He made it to age 37 from sharing his wisdom, a decade longer than anyone thought he would survive. Keep up sharing your wisdom!

So, wait, the sublocade didn't work for you?? God, it's so important for you to share bc I was going to get the shot...and if you started to withdraw, and didn't realize it... I mean, c'mon man, we need to know why. Was it straight relapse or were you in withdrawal and in need of another shot?? Put the bat down brother...

@julieowen5874 sublocade is amazing and works. I needed another shot and to just submit to the process. I thought one shot was enough but with my history and my own situation I need more time. I stand by the Sublocade shot! Yes it works!

Withdrawals def can happen (4-6 months agter your last injection)- but, from everyone that I’ve spoken to, they are mild. Many people continue to work but get that hot feeling or chills feeling and goes away quickly.
But the thing is, you have to know yourself and the science behind body chemistry. Your body might need assistance for that first year (not everyday but one day here snd there)- what I’ve been told that is really helpful is Gabapentin. Dont take it daily but it can help with anxiety. Also, benzos, but be careful, don’t get hooked (I’ve been hooked and they are a breeze to get off of compared to opiates)-
bottom line is, you have like a 1% chance to get off subs in pill form. I think your chances are closer to 60% if you get on the sublocade. And if you have some stuff (gavapentin, benzos, melotonin) your success rate will be closer to 90%. If you aren’t completely sold on sublocade, look into ibogaine. Only issue with ibogaine is that it’s not on the United States (you’ll have to go to Canada or Caribbean) and it cost about 5-10K, and you have to get back on a full opiate for 30-40 days. But that shit def works. Imma be honest with you. I think people that have been opiates for a long time have difficulty just living life without anything.
This is where I think psychedelics can truly help us (and ketamine). Mushrooms/lsd/and ketamine every 2-3 months to keep depression at bay is an option a lot of people don’t realize they have and think they have to live a 100% sober life with no room for error. And these are the people that relapse. I bet if the poster had taken some mushrooms or lsd in the months follow his siblocade, he wouldn’t have relapsed. He has struggled with depression in the past and you are trying to fill that void. I feel psychedelics are the answer for people like us.
Until we can get our brain chemistry back to what it was before our opiate addiction, we will never be able to be 💯 with ourselves. This can take about 18-24 months. This is where the psychedelics can help. Makes sure that you aren’t too down and puts you in a “pink cloud” (or so it’s called). This will give you an enlightened feeling and you have a very low chance of relapsing.
The sublocade will help a lot of people. But it’s not a cure all. It’s amazing and actually gives us a chance against suboxone but you gotta know yourself, have something on hand for the mild withdrawals you will feel and set something up to take some psychedelics for the first year or 2. I feel like this is the best way, from all the science and literature I’ve read and all the people who have taken this stuff.

@@s.p.8870it works but you really should try to not be on anything else. No marijiana, no Xanax, no alcohol, no amphetamines. Think people end up thinking they want to get off and they aren’t ready but this is def the best way to get off of suboxone. The other best way is to go back on a full opiate and do the Ibogaine route
