    I am in healthcare and am feeling stuck and considering moving towards project management…the problem with the points you made is I have a history of being really indecisive!! I think I just have never had high confidence and worry too much about the outcome of my decisions. Do you think this skill can be learned on the job?

    • @AdrianaGirdler
      @AdrianaGirdler  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Stephanie…thanks for watching and for your comment. Yes, you can learn decisiveness and confidence on the job but if you know these are NOT your strong traits you may also want to do some coaching or reading up on how to improve. Decisiveness is critical to project management as you are leading a team. Sign up for my free training. Part of decisiveness and confidence is having all the right information and a strong project plan. My free training will guide you through this. All the best in your decision to switch roles.

    • @AdrianaGirdler
      @AdrianaGirdler  Před 2 lety +1

      Great question! You can become a project manager with a degree, mine is in engineering, and with on the job experience. Starting with projects with in your company and gaining experience from there. You can get a designation from the project management institute down the road which gives you the designation as a PMP.. I have a course called Slay Project management that give you the practical educational side of project management. Here is the link if you want to check it out.
