My late grandmother was Métis. I have no idea from what tribe, no one in my family acknowledges this side of us. I am so eager to know what tribe I am from. I feel called by my ancestors to continue traditions, our spirituality.. From the visions and dreams I have constantly, from the pull of native spirituality and natural medicine healing, I know my ancestors surround me. I have this elder that does guide me, she tells me all the time that I am a healer. I am from a lineage thats heals. That explain my interest to pursue herbalism and hypnotherapy. I cried so much during this song. I feel a calling like my sisters are signing to me.. Its so hard, as I know I have this piece of heritage deep within me, but my skin colour is fair, and my family doesnt care to connect with this part of us. Its hurts, but with their guidance I will keep pushing. Thank you ❤
