How do I check/set current time and date (at least day of week)?
Hello. I start the car and smoke comes out into the cabin. what reason ?
Setting it to start before starting my shift, it won’t turn on despite programming it
I've tried setting the timer, but it appears to be a couple of days out (so if I want heat before a sunday shift, I have to set it to Tuesday). Where does it get this information from, and how do I reset it? Ta.
The P button can be let on the entire night without any issue?
So to use the heater when you sleep you just push the P button?

Until you're battery is criticaly low, it will run all the time without issue.
I have set my night heater to come on but it starts up a hour before the time I have set it for
Question is... How do you set date and time for the timer.
Mine stopped coming on for some reason. Not sure if it is a date or time issue.

My cab heater “not night heater” keeps not working you have to pull the fuse wait for it to reset and put fuse back in,had no heating for 2days as the piece of shit won’t reset not impressed with Daf at all

I have read that it locks up after 3 failure starts when it start to run but then turns off. I tried to reset it by removing fuse but from what i heard it can be only unlocked by device with heater diagnostic program :/:/ Older was way better and without this problem.. Cheer up.. You are not alone in freezing :/ :(
why do you not invite to design the driver's cabin or many drivers who will tell you what is needed and what is redundant. for example, the new wet heating is tragic, I am reminded of the 95 years when there was wet heating in daf. the energy mass absorbs the heating and it makes no sense, probably every winter pack model is missing, there is no heating that will work with the engine together when it is very cold when going to Russia or Austria where it is very cold and a lot of snow, there is no electricity in the batteries, the fuel freezes, you cannot start the heater or the engine. it is best to plan the construction of a cabin and many components, such as plots or accessories with drivers, because the bosses or office employees have not yet designed a good functional cabin. the quality of plastics and assembly, assembling them is a total failure. and this equipment has to be paid extra for each element, stupid microwave refrigerator or air conditioner on the roof. or leed lights, a shame for such a big company. and I would paint the lighting of the Jacuzzi heating panel, because the whole night is shining at maximum power. it is a failure
Piece of crap it does not fire up I'm freezing and it doesn't even blow hot air when I'm driving,got to turn on heated seat to keep a little bit warm. Boooo

This is a stupid function. Why remove the old night heater switch?? I want heat by not using engine heat god dam it.
DAF, you have so many great things on the new XF but please please remove this stupid 2020 night heater all because you want to save a small amount of fuel for the haulier.
What a load of nonsense & BS this lady is explaining this night heater function. I want heat WITHOUT complication on the stupid thing in the 1st place.
