i would assume they would implement the ads how brawlhalla implemented their ads. Optional ads that will give you a random item after watching 25 and 50 ads
The ads are a bit scary ngl, after seeing what happened with things like SFV, and then I think NBA. If it were to come to apex it'll most likely decimate the player retention
Ads on SFV were obnoxious. Especially, when we played on PS4. PS5 reduced the loading times so it wasn't as unbearable. 😅

the only reason the buster sword did so good was not because it was a universal heirloom. Sure some people may have bought it for that reason however I feel like it did so well because it was a collab

It's funny how much stuff from Apex mobile has finally made it over to the main game except the two Legends. The cryo grenade was in mobile too. Doc could slowly follow you in mobile but easily got disconnected. Crypto's drone would follow you and then automatically highlight nearby enemies until they shot it down. That would be pretty op in the main game though.
I think they could make Ads work if they make it like "watch 5 Ads, get 120 crafting materials" or something like that

Just got back into the game last season after not playing since season 1 and got to BP level 102. Im addicted and would love a katar!
Depends on how they implement the ads. If they disrupt the gameplay, that's a problem obviously. If it's in the lobby, drones are flying ads around, or during loading screens, w/e.
I think they will probably tweak the final ring damage if they do release shockbot. The real potential i see depends on if you can use it as a throwable (horizons ult for example), you can move people out of the cover completly.

Idk how I feel about the lifeline drone following you cuz say you just res a teammate behind cover and put your drone down then run away to fight the squad coming at you guys so your teammate can heal. That won’t work very well if the drone just runs off with you.😅
As a lifeline main from season 0, I might return to her. I miss the revive shield and fast heals
i think lifeline's gonna be a little op but still workable cuz they might make the ult work like 1 shock and the drone breakable
Hope the ads they end up adding aren't incredibly intrusive. Maybe add in another banner on the map which has the ad, but if it's directly on the screen that's a bit too much imo.

I feel like ads would be interesting, but it might be cool if they have them on banners in game or do collabs instead of having straight up pop up ads.

Finally we can move DOC around again, as a hardcore lifeline main I’m happy, for seasons I was saying it’s unfair we can’t move DOC anymore all cuz it was apperently “too OP”, I especially kicked up shit when conduit was introduced cuz how is me moving my DOC OP but beaming people shield regen through walls not 😂

So how to the katars work? If I buy the one for heirloom shards do I have to work on buying the the full cobalt altar set or can I immediately get whoever version I want or buy any version I want

Well, here’s my thoughts on everything new coming to Apex legends. I love the kobalt katars, and I think they have potential. I believe that lifeline rework will be amazing, too. Especially with the new map coming in season 22, I think it will be awesome. There’s so much coming to apex, that it seems that EA and respawn are really trying to turn things around. Oh and not only that but with the new EOS( Epic Online Service) I haven’t seen a single hacker in season 21, not that they’re all gone it’s just cut back on a lot of the hackers. I hope this can bring back the integrity of the ranked system. Love you Thordan! You’re awesome hope you have an amazing day!!!
